Those are Jerry Rice's #'s in 2002, when he caught 49% of the balls thrown his way. He's considered to be the best WR ever, and those stats tell you that you can't blame it on him being old. He was still putting up solid numbers.
I really think that catch % isn't a worth while stat. I'd rather see drops calculated. Obviously Chambers doesn't have the greatest catch % in the world. But I remember things like that Thurs night game vs PIT. CPep threw that one that was almost intercepted in the endzone, another that hit Chambers in the face, but the timing was off, etc...
Someone with ESPN Insider access should take a look at these stats (because I can't).
