well hes had a pretty disappointing season thus far. then again the passing game for WASH hasnt been spectactular earlier on. but things seem to clicking now with Brunell. I can see Moss getting double and triple teamed after last weeks performance, leaving things plenty open for Cooley in the passing lanes. this weeks game against NYG has the potential to be a big shootout so i can see Cooley getting another 70-80 yards like last week but this time with a score. im thinking of picking him up since hes been dropped in my league and starting him over witten. anybody else have a good feeling about him this week?

BTW NYG have given up approx 8 passing TD's in just 3 games. approx 190yards and 2TD to TE's

Hell yeah! His owner dropped him so I picked him up to cover Crumpler's bye week.

If he doesn't kick ### against the Giants soft D, he's probably going back to the WW.

The problem I see with Cooley is the fact that Washington went and got Lloyd and Randle El in the off-season. So that's 2 more recriving options that he has to compete with for catches. Last year he was the #2 option. This year he could be anywhere from #2 to #4 depending upon who's on the field at the time. I have to thin his numbers improve from what they've been so far this year but I wouldn't expect him to get anything close to last year's numbers.

Career (4 games) Cooley is 14/95/3 against the Giants, all coached by Coughlin. Obviously, there have been some significant changes to the team over those two years, some implying he could get higher than average numbers, and some implying lower.

Still, it's worth noting that he would at the very least appear to match up well with the Giants in the red zone.
