Chris Hogan - Shark move? (1 Viewer)

Our league only allows one pickup each week so I have to use mine wisely.

Chris Hogan hasn't done much so far this season but I think with Brady coming back they'll be all pissed off and putting the hammer down with 50-burgers every game, like they did after the spygate thing. Do you think it's a shark move to pick up Hogan right now, or is it a waste of pick and should go with a safer choice like Steve Smith?

Yes Steve Smith is available but isn't he consistently a yards but no TD guy except for last week? I was kinda thinking shooting for the sky with Brady coming back angry.

He's  # 20 in yards, 13th in targets; if stays healthy, likely to stay Flacco #1 WR.

If Smith is available I would grab him over Hogan and I am a Patriots homer.  The problem with the Pats is that one week will be Gronk, then Edelman, then Bennett, then maybe Hogan, then Blount, then Lewis if he comes back.  The Pats spread it around too much which is great for them but not for trying to decide who to start in fantasy.  Not as many options in Baltimore.

Depends on needs, if variance to upside than Hogan (looks like a deep threat, does Brady target him more)? S Smith feels a lot more consistent but a yardage guy vs massive weeks and if i had to bet has more total points by year end.
