Chris Ivory injury status (2 Viewers)

Speculation based on tendencies: Sean Payton will probably be willing to rest Ivory this week. He employs a very light hand with injured players, always with an eye on the future benefit of the team.

Ivory's strengths play into the Raven's defensive strengths, anyway. I am concerned with the Saints offense getting one-dimensional, though. Maybe Pierre Thomas can rekindle some of that 2009 magic.

Make other plans, I think he sits this week. Ivory was saying how he wants to be a part of the playoffs this year, so he really wants to go into that healthy. I see him sitting this week and you'll see a RBBC with Thomas and Bush. Thomas admitted to not being in game shape and was winded after consecutive carries. This guy isn't getting 20 carries against the Ravens.

 Pretty much exactly how it all played out. Saints are resigned to the #5 seed in the NFC now.Keeping an eye on Ivory this week ... he might be able to help some FFB teams in title games if he's able to return for MNF.

Could very well be, considering the run game really went nowhere yesterday - the Ravens D is not the same run-stuffing unit that they used be.If Thomas/Bush had been effective, Ivory would probably be on the outside looking in, but it seems like his presence is becoming increasingly important for the Saints' offense.

The schedule is not kind, I need to choose between 3 guys with injuries up in the air and they play Sunday and Monday night :ptts:
