I don't think there's ever been as much seriously sad discussion about an NFL offense as theirs must have been this offseason. He was a genius at creating mismatches and made some less than average players useful. Any tape breakdown had to include that wonderful discovery and the sadness of his absence. They do look lost without Dinger.I mentioned earlier that Palmer should possibly just be the QB coach, however, replacing Heimerdinger would be a very difficult job for anyone. With a short offseason, it's even harder. See, again, it's not that the Titans had this ferocious awesome with tons of weapons. They had Dinger making some shmoo look like a gem by getting him in a great matchup.

In the 2 weeks since this post, C.Johnson has over 280 total yards and is averaging 4.7 ypc. Ringer has 50 total yards and is averaging 3.0 ypc.

I watched alot of the game today. He seems hesitant, indecisive, impatient, and slow.
This is clearly not the same player we saw the last 3 seasons. In those seasons, he hit the holes fast,
blasting through them at a 100 miles per hour.
The problem clearly seems to be him, not the O-Line, offensive play calling, or anything else.
I really think Tennessee should play Locker at QB going forward. This guy seems like a A+ version of Vince Young.
Locker can pass (has a bullet arm), and can run. He could create alot of mismatches for defences that may

He's made decent strides the last 2 weeks so several felt he was turning it around and finally in game shape. I read the play by play of his carries last week and it made me feel better about him going forward... I didnt see the game this week but it appears he's not hitting the hole hard or in tune with the line. I dont get it.

I know he's tried going for the home run alot more this year than just hitting the hole hard and picking up yards. I think its part of his problem at this point but obviously it couldnt hurt.

CricketsJohnson is now playing like we all knew he could. He still is having a sub-par year by his standards. But he is looking like he will finish strong...and just in time for the FF playoffs.Next season he will be a force again. The kid is a special player.
