Help us, Joebi-Wan Brynobi, you're our only ho
Starting a thread to share prayer and worship to the Holy Trinity. Please keep this thread respectful and feel free to post prayers of your own as the Spirit inspires you.

If you are of a different faith, please feel free to stop by to read or pass over this thread if it holds no meaning to you.

The purpose of this thread is to come together with other Christians in a shared expression of faith to our wonderful creator.

Let's see how this goes. I have a lot of hope in you, FFA. I've seen the respect and support that we are able to muster for each other. I am sincere in creating this thread knowing it will not be for everyone.

Pax Christi!

The name of the Lord is praised in heaven and on earth, alleluia.

Ps 148

Hallelujah!

Praise the LORD from the heavens;

praise him in the heights.

Praise him, all you his angels;

give praise, all you his hosts.

Praise him, sun and moon;

praise him, all shining stars.

Praise him, highest heavens,

you waters above the heavens.

Let them all praise the LORDs name;

for he commanded and they were created,

Assigned them their station forever,

set an order that will never change.

Praise the LORD from the earth,

you sea monsters and all the deeps of the sea;

Lightning and hail, snow and thick clouds,

storm wind that fulfills his command;

Mountains and all hills,

fruit trees and all cedars;

Animals wild and tame,

creatures that crawl and birds that fly;

Kings of the earth and all peoples,

princes and all who govern on earth;

Young men and women too,

old and young alike.

Let them all praise the LORDs name,

for his name alone is exalted,

His majesty above earth and heaven.

He has lifted high the horn of his people;

to the praise of all his faithful,

the Israelites, the people near to him.

Hallelujah!

~~~~~~~~
Lord, extolled in the heights by angelic powers, you are also praised by all earth's creatures, each in its own way. With all the splendor of heavenly worship, you still delight in such tokens of love as earth can offer. May heaven and earth together acclaim you as King; may the praise that is sung in heaven resound in the heart of every creature on earth.
Amen.
The Creator of the seas,
the Wisdom that set a bridle on the deep,
that restrained the untamed fury of the waters above the firmament,
tonight pours water into a basin
and washes the feet of his friends.
-Byzantine-Rite Holy Thursday chant
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have revealed to the nations your saving power and filled all ages with the words of a new song. Hear the echo of this hymn. Give us voice to sing your praise throughout this season of joy. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Thank you Lord for the gift of life. Help me to see the path You have laid out before me, and to use this gift as You intend.
Being a longtime participant of this forum I must honestly confess that my first reaction to this thread is this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F4qzPbcFiA
However, if you are indeed sincere, I applaud you. I'm afraid though you are going to attract a lot of attention from people here who seem to take a great deal of pleasure in mocking and demeaning Christians and Christianity. Good luck.
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18-19
Lol @ Admiral Akbar.
I assure you this is sincere, anyone who has known me on here should believe that. I also give credit. Hasn't devolved yet, and neither have either of my novena threads.
We Christians do a whole lot of talking online. Just hoping to bring a little something else to the table.
Thank you for your many blessings, Lord, and for allowing me to participate in your sacrifice. Help me to always lift up my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings to you throughout each day.
For your name's sake I pray, AMEN!
Thank you Lord for blessing me with a loving if passionate family. I love you, Jesus, and I love your Holy Spirit!
Thank you for an opportunity to share my favorite band with my son tonight. And thank you for blessing us with a moving and brilliant show, which hit all the right notes of unity and love.
Thank you for the band as well. Bless them and keep them and draw them ever closer to you Lord.
Amen
Gotta be Stryper, right?
I had no idea his music is faith based. It dispelled my assumption that all Christian based music are the traditional type like gospel, country and such.
I had responded to his tweet about Rick Allen of Def Leppard and what a wonderful guy he is, saying how inspiring he is to me because of how he rose above the tragedy of losing his arm and is performing better than ever on the drums. Michael Sweet started following me and I'm following him. What a wonderful person he is. He interacts more with his fans than the other musicians I am following, and is so nice and uplifting! While not a big fan of metal, I love the person that he is and just may have to make an exception to pay more attention to this group.
Just like Moslems, Christians can get a bad rap. There are good loving people in both, well in all religions (and non-religious people too). It bothers me to see any religion attacked as everyone of that faith are extremist nutcases when in fact, it doesn't represent the majority. My bff of 35 years is very Christian. While I am not (I'm spiritual however), I do enjoy reading her emails of support she sends me. She loves me regardless of any differences we may have.
I hope this thread doesn't turn south and it's treated like the suicide thread is, with respect no matter what your thoughts may be. :thumbup:
After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches* in their hands.10They cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation comes from* our God, who is seated on the throne,
and from the Lamb.”
11All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God,12and exclaimed:
“Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving,
honor, power, and might
be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
-REV 7:9-11
All praise to God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; The Holy One of Israel; The Father of the heavenly lights; the giver of every good and perfect gift; The Way, The Truth and The Life; and the name by which all men are saved, Jesus Christ.  All honor and glory to him who provides exceedingly and abundantly all that we may ever need.
I thank you, Father, for Your grace and mercy which are greater than the evil that is within me and within all the world.  You are gracious to all who seek you and love you.  May your name be exalted among every nation.  I pray for your creation to be reconciled to you and honor you with our thoughts, deeds and words.  Help me to walk in your paths and honor you with who I am and what I am to be.  Help me move from a man of fear and doubt to a man filled with love and faithfulness.  Fill me with your Holy Spirit and your Word that I might walk in Your ways.
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was, and is and is to come.
Psalm 36
2Sin directs the heart of the wicked man;
his eyes are closed to the fear of God.
3For he lives with the delusion:
his guilt will not be known and hated.
4Empty and false are the words of his mouth;
he has ceased to be wise and do good.
5On his bed he hatches plots;
he sets out on a wicked way;
he does not reject evil.
6LORD, your mercy reaches to heaven;
your fidelity, to the clouds.
7Your justice is like the highest mountains;
your judgments, like the mighty deep;
human being and beast you sustain, LORD.
8How precious is your mercy, O God!
The children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
9They feast on the rich food of your house;
from your delightful stream you give them drink.
10For with you is the fountain of life,
and in your light we see light.
11Show mercy on those who know you,
your just defense to the upright of heart.
12Do not let the foot of the proud overtake me,
nor the hand of the wicked disturb me.
13There make the evildoers fall;
thrust them down, unable to rise.
Hallelujah!
Praise the LORD from the heavens;
praise him in the heights.
Praise him, all you his angels;
give praise, all you his hosts.
Praise him, sun and moon;
praise him, all shining stars.
Praise him, highest heavens,
you waters above the heavens.
Ps 148
“Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of our ancestors,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever;
And blessed is your holy and glorious name,
praiseworthy and exalted above all for all ages.
Blessed are you in the temple of your holy glory,
praiseworthy and glorious above all forever.
Blessed are you on the throne of your kingdom,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever.
Blessed are you who look into the depths
from your throne upon the cherubim,
praiseworthy and exalted above all forever.
Blessed are you in the firmament of heaven,
praiseworthy and glorious forever.
Bless the Lord, all you works of the Lord,
praise and exalt him above all forever.
