I thought it was an interesting point about how wanting to annihilate your neighbor is what spurred technology.

I didn't play the newest version of the game, but man I was addicted to the previous versions.

It is true. Most of our greatest technological advances came during war time because restrictions that would be present during peace were lifted due to the necessity of killing the other guy first.
