CJ2 owners are u starting Calvin in your FF playoffs? (1 Viewer)

I'm curious what Calvin Johnson owners are going to do with him during their FF playoffs. One would THINK that with Roy out, he'd be the #1 WR and would get increased targets. But of course last weekend after Roy went out I think Calvin got MAYBE 1 target. Its hard to figure out this team when Calvin got force fed 15 targets on Thanksgiving, and then 2 or 3 this last weekend.

Next week the Lions play a somewhat porous Dallas secondary. And we all know Lions SHOULD be trailing and throwing from behind late. So Calvin owners, are you going to roll the dice and start him? If not, who are you starting over Calvin?

:lmao:

I thought I might be starting him after that 15 target week...but I also have CJ1, Braylon, and Welker. If he does sneak into my starting lineup, it would probably be for Welker or whichever WR gets injured first.

I am probably starting Shaun McDonald over him.
I was curious as to who may be the better start from here on out between the two. My guess is that in a heavy TD league, Calvin may be the better option whereas in a PPR, McDonald may put up better numbers...does that seem like a safe assessment?

I will be starting McDonald for sure in one league - Boldin injury.

I own CJ2 in another and I am not sure he will see my starting lineup. Just not sure how he will do in the starting WR role. Tough call here. I think I will flip flop a number of times before Sunday.

I think CJ has a chance here, but also remember that he is now heads and shoulders the #1 WR on that team in terms of defensive planning. I think Furrey could do quite well in the slot (100 receptions only a year ago) with CJ boom or bust. If there is a good CB matched up on him, could be a long day.

I am not sure he's the number one, let along head and shoulders above the others. McDonald has consistently outperformed him.

With Roy out, I have to start him. Of course, it isn't like Roy was lighting it up anyway, especially the last few weeks.

Justin Gage is on the WW, and if he makes it to me, he'll start over CJ2.

Over the course of the season if you tracked the snaps... I'm 100% positive McDonald has been on the field for far more snaps than Calvin.

Perhaps. Not even sure on that one. Maybe though.

With the way the season has gone... he could start. Be pulled and standing on the sidelines as the Lions go 3 wide with Troy Walters in the game.

Martz seems to favor his former Rams wideouts.
