CJ2K at this point last year (1 Viewer)

15 more ppr fpts too.

I'm not concerned about him repeating '09, just keep this pace and he'll be good.

I hope TEN keeps CJ around 20 touches a game like in week 2,4 & 5. The 31 and 32 touches against OAK and NYG were kinda worrisome.

Scary to think where he would be right now if his rightful 85 yard TD against Pittsburgh wasn't called back on that bogus holding call.

Chris Johnson is questionable to play this week.
That's an interesting development but:goodposting:
On the CBS sports fantasy site, it's what it says by his mname on my roster. It does say Questionable Weeks vs. Jax. This is the blurb they give.Titans RB Chris Johnson skipped practice Thursday with what is being reported as a thigh injury, although this was more likely just a case of him resting up. Tennessee plays at Jacksonville on Monday night in Week 6. The Jaguars rank 14th in the league against the run, giving up an average of 102.8 yards per game through the first five weeks. They have also allowed an average of 16.20 Fantasy points to opposing running backs. In four career games against the Jaguars, Johnson has carried the ball 72 times for 468 yards with two touchdowns.

And at this point last year his ypc was 6.4.

If he's going to go back to back 2k rushing seasons he's going to need to get that ypc way up, very fast. He's not going to carry the ball 500 times this season.

Had 13 yards less rushing and only 2 TD'sIts scary to think of what might happen....................again.Just saying:no:
Agreed...he could actually get hurt this year!
Dirty - wishing injury on a player. Bad Karma - who is your #1RB so I can make sure I get rid of him in all of my pools.
:goodposting: No, not wishing harm on your player. Just saying that you should imagine the worst case scenario as well as the best case scenario. He's got a lot of carries already in a small time frame.

So we SHOULD factor in this disallowed touchdown, but NOT factor in Calvin's disallowed TD in week one. K.Not directing this at you WM, just recalling how different the discussion was in one of the Calvin threads in this regard.

:ptts: Either he's getting slower or the run blocking has gotten worse. Either way, he isn't built like Ced Ben or Rudi - you can't load him up with 350+ carries and grind out production. You're either going to wear him down, get him hurt or have to spell him more.

113/5 x 16 = 362

Or exactly 4 more carries than he had last year. Yes, it's still too many for his long term prospects but its almost 9 carries a game away from the 500 # that keeps getting tossed around here.

The 500 carries was the # he'd have to get to reach 2k at his current ypc rate, which Bloom tweeted today that he would reach this year.

Thanks, that point escaped me. Hopefully more 19-22 carry games and less 30-32 carry games going forward. Also, his YPC this year if the phantom center "hold" doesn't get called on the 85 yarder? 5.0
