My elixer stores are full (8m) with nothing to spend it on other than two useless barracks upgrades for pekkas

I am 11 days away from a hog upgrade to be able to spend it on research and I cant do any of the other upgrades until I bump up to TH 10 which I have been avoiding.....

Too expensive! I'm still working on lvl 9, but at $1M a piece it will take me forever. Then, there's lvl 10 at $3M a piece, and lvl 11 at $4M a piece. Never get there without your wallet...

 
I think we may need to weed out the inactives in the clan for when we have clan wars, maybe combine all the active players from both clans or somthing

Yes it does. There is first a calculation of how much can be taken from your storage which depends only on your own TH level. After that, there is another modifier for relative TH level between attacker and defender:

Defender TH level:

Same or higher than attacker: 100%

1 level lower than attacker: 90%

2 levels lower: 50%

3 levels lower: 25%

4+ levels lower: 10%

So if you're TH3 and attack a TH3 you can get 100% of his lootable resources. If a TH5 attacked the same guy, he'd only be able to get half as much.

There's one person who has 0/0. About 5-6 people who have less than 50 combined.

looking at people with less than 50, if you look at their base and its still destroyed and tomb stones everywhere id say its safe to assume theyre inactive

looking at people with less than 50, if you look at their base and its still destroyed and tomb stones everywhere id say its safe to assume theyre inactive

And if all the builders are sleeping, collectors are piling up, etc.

This is where I am at. L100, TH9, all skull walls (L8). I have one more upgrade left on hogs, then I can work on other DE upgrades. I'm upgrading defences before I go TH10, but all the upgrades are in the 5M gold range. I don't think I can do another 250 walls segments at million a pop. I'll go nuts.

I would upgrade the barracks just so they can build more troops. I rarely build a Pekka, but I like having 75 spots in all the barracks.

When I am on, it is basically just farming for gold. I try to stay in the 1600-1800 trophy range and I can pick up a 250K-$500K an hour without much thought. I am ignoring elixir.

 
I'm just going to go in and kick out the bottom five trophies to clear some space for some more attentive players.

So much for farming at lower trophy levels... got to TH5 last night and changed my base layout to one i found online that was touted as good for farming and defense and, well, offline all day today and gained 200+ trophies just off defense. Well, the layout works.

 
I'm just joking on the kicking people out thing. Let's see how this clan wars stuff works out before we start thinning the herd.

 
Im bored now. I didnt upgrade my collectors and am paying the price now. I have 12 collectors between 7 and 9 that all need to get up to 11 before I complete my th8 build. So now I just get on, donate troops, and build walls with my one builder that i keep open

The sad thing is that I am so impatient, I may just buy gems to finish it. Sometimes I hate when I waste money just because

Shoot_Me_Now = Shoot_Me_Now. I've been a lurker for a couple years and the clan wars made me make the plunge finally in case strategy needs to be discussed.

 
for clan wars you don't really lose your resources. so having a base layout with your storages outside and your th and most buildings well protected might be important

 
I'm counting on the reddit-ers to do the debug on how to dominate this update, then I'll copy whatever they do. $$$$$$$$$$

 
I've been reluctant to upgrade to Clan Castle 5 at the cost of $7M, so I'm glad that cost is coming down.

They write that like we've all seen those Gem Boxes before. I guess I was an unlucky one, never ever seen the original gem box.

Me neither. What is this magical gem box? Is it like a tree stump that takes 1 day to open but holds 100+ gems? :excited:

MOTHER####ER!!!!!! I have been trying for the last two days to stay online as much as I can to get to 1250 and now this! I'm at 1208 right now and I know I'm going to get rolled as soon as they come back online. Damn it!!!
