If there are only 6-10 people in 1 who want to war 3x a week we should figure that out and adjust.This is what the draft/reshuffling thing was supposed to have fixed.
There are definitely posts from fbg1 members which can be construed as elitist. I'm not sure they are, but can see it.
At the end of the day, this is supposed to be fun. It's a game. The last year has been about growing and I would never have stuck it out if not for this clan
I get why BB and grove wanted out of boog. At some point, the friends and friends of friends makes it seem no better than a random.
It is my guestimation that out of the 35 fbg1 members, 6-10 are die hard 3 wars a week guys. The rest, me included, just follow along. Since day 1, I've said the donations are what keeps me there.
Would really love to see a balanced reshuffling of all four clans. Something that works for most. Otherwise, there will be a few that die out and there will be no where for some to go. There are a lot of smart people here. Shirley, we can figure this out. It's not about 2-3 wars, its about trying to gain balance so we all continue to have fun. It's not so serious, it's a game. (One where people cheat and stay on all day apparently)

Sorry if folks see arrogance in fbg1. It just isn't there. There may be frustrated abrasiveness that comes off in this thread, but for those in the clan there is no arrogance. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the shine on this apple is long gone.
The only expectations are to participate in war, follow any declared plan of attack, and to bring a base where the offense is at least in the ballpark of your defense.
Donations are sky high. No one gets any grief for poor war performance, etc.
I think what you see is that a clan that was winning every war and always sitting at 50 is now losing more often than not. And we're currently warring at 30, our lowest ever.
But if there is a perceived arrogance in here, then that's an issue. Obviously we won't be getting new members from this board if everyone sees us as pricks. I'd encourage folks to come spend a week in the clan and judge for themselves.
But I'm not going to try to recruit and compete against the other clans like some on here seem to do. HondaBoog is 1 war, FBG4 is 2 and we are 3. Take your pick from them.

The prime reason I stay in FBG1 is the donations. I've spent some time in Boog and Honda and there were long dead periods, it sucked. Right now in FBG1 we have a bunch of guys who have over 2k donations this season already. Way more fun to raid when you have constant access to fill your CC.

Here's my thoughts on some of the topics
- As to elitisim/ringerism from fbg1 to others. I assume this is directed at me. I hope people that think that think that without actually having in-game knowledge. I like to think of myself as a cool headed guy that likes to schtick it up in here more than in the game. I genuinely try to put people in places where they can succeed or sometimes hit stuff they never had thought they could before with good planning behind them. People know (or I hope they do) I'm the very first person to jump to people's defense when an attack goes off the rails, #### happens. I probably come off a little rough in the thread because I honestly, genuinely, don't get the clan makeup here. And maybe I never will, so some of my incredulity of this could, and likely does, come off as elitist and if so I regret it.
- I think we are nearing a breakthrough. We hit a rough patch where we had a ton of TH9 that jumped a little early for their offense and we were getting smoked. Things are turning back in our favor. Our mix is getting stronger and we are adapting quicker to in game changes.
- I do think to continue to have success we have to have one clan of 50. If that means we have to go outside to get it then so be it. I was under the impression that sub 50 clans would actually be easier, but this is/was clearly wrong.
- I would rather do two wars at 50 with our guys and drop down to a MicroWar for the third war a week than go outside to reddit or supercell to recruit randoms.
- I bet jrk is sexy in real life.
- In every game I've played with FFA members there has always been a peak like this. Where you have people starting to tail off interest and you have die hards that want to see it out to the end point. To hit this point now isn't all that shocking. We were best when we clan hopped between fbg1 and boog on a pattern. Those were the glory days. There's nothing to say we can't go back to hopping to meet the needs of die hards and casuals together for the common goal.

I just want to be in a clan with guys from this board. The worst part of being in Boog was it seemed like every other member was somebody's kid or work friend and not a FBG. Sunday - Prep day
Monday 7pmCST FBG1 re-racks again with 50 same deal. Serious.
Tuesday Prep day
Wednesday - War wrapping up and moving day just like in the Boog days, get your two attacks in and gtfo.
Wednesday 8pmCST - Kickoff FBG1 with all the one cannon and schtick accounts we can squeeze in. Archers in cc. Perhaps go to the level of 1/2 TH out farming style war with no central planning and free for all attacks.
Honda maintains it's normal gameplan which is working great for them. FBG4 can run smaller wars on demand, or pickup a serious Wednesday war. Boog does whatever.
Benefits
-Gives people a window of sorts to do heroes to at least 10/10 and ideally 15/15. Wednesday-Monday pretty much covers the hero upgrade cycle. Every other week as a goal there, or every week a stretch goal seems reasonable.

3 - zap a L7 AA release across south corner, pray. 25% chance at 1 star. take 10 minions and put out on corners along with king to get to 50%.
6 - rush from 10 oclock has a damn good chance of 2 stars imo. again, save some minions and bk for 50%.
8 - zap a AA and you get a WT too, release at 4 oclock with drags is best bet. might get 2 here.
10 - zap that 10oclock aa and spread from 9 to noon wide. Dicey as hell for 1. pack your suitcase of courage

At lower TH levels (7 to be exact), is it worth going with one less dragon and using 20 archers to clear a CC? Lots of space to easily do it in most cases.
A lot less fire power than a 10th dragon but guarantees the CC to be dealt with and with the right base setup, the archers can provide a little target fodder while CC hogs take out the 2nd/3rd AD.

I'll take 40 archers, but not to clear the CC, to trim soft edges off bases to keep my dragons focused. I'm going with the 8 more efficient dragons is better theory.
The CC can be used to guide your dragons. But it can also wreck CC hogs. I should pull it but don't. (Don't take that out of context.)

I use all dragons and give zero concern to the clan castle troops. Dragons will mow right through them.

If this happened, I'd likely move back to FBG1. I've just got a bit of war-tired-ness and don't like moving between clans. So now I'm on the SeriousBus.

Legitimate FBG/FBG4 accounts are > 50. This leaves some out in the cold for the serious war they want. This is the crux of the problem, IMO. I started in Boog and stayed when fbg1 went to full time war.
Prior to that, I hopped occassionally, but it got full really quickly. Then we got to the spot where there were fbg1 "regulars" that had preference to hoppers.
From the fbg1 perspective, this was a glorious time. Always full, always winning, with great activity. From the outside, Boog would fill to 40-50 for war day, but drop to quiet levels while the regulars went home, often immediately after attack 2 in the war ( so they wouldn't miss a spot before it filled )
These proposals all are from the perspective of the fbg1 regulars, who will have a full clan at all times, war as seriously and often as desired. What it doesn't take into account is the 20-30 accounts that want a full scale serious war but have limited access when fbgs fills up.
I don't have a perfect answer. I know Honda has the parent/kid link, and there are only about 10-15 fbgs in there ( I think ). I'm not sure of Boog's makeup at this point. Quattro is at 30 with probably 20 fbgs + seconds and family. I just don't think there's a clean way to get a full 50 serious mulit-war clan without leaving about 10-20 looking for a fit.

Well I botched that by failing to kill the queen and a poor precision hog drop. I don't know if it will matter with the amount of stars they put up overnight but man I screwed that up.
First Laloonian attacks I've done and enjoyed planning around them. May have to upgrade the hound next.

culdeus, in one of your moments of clarity when the fog of alcohol & the meds are at a low point, let me know what the next steps are for the 1 cannon account. TH7, will have dragons in another day or so, plan to immediately upgrade to lvl2 after balloon upgrade finishes. Need to get dark barracks & storage, BK? Next move to go to TH8? No rush because I'm a good week or two away from lvl2 dragons.

I'd probably go ahead and make sure you are camp at 200 and get 2 barracks to drags and the other to at least one step away from drags. TH8 is pretty useless for a one cannon the only big upgrade you get access to is L3 drags and 25 spots in your clan castle, that's it. TH7 has alot of stuff you can get that will have value later. I probably should have stayed at TH7 longer and blown thru TH8 had I had to do over again.
After L2 drags finish then try to get barch to L4 if you have the time, but this is optional.
Dark barracks are optional at this point unless elixer is overflowing. Minions do help build faster armies, however.
BK is a must, but can be done at TH8 a little easier because war loot can bring in BK quickly.
