No need to feel awful about it. It is, after all, just a game. And to be fair my warring of late has been an abject failure. I'm going to take some time off from FBG1, build up my heroes and troops and hope to make a contribution later. My war attacks just aren't getting it done. I need to figure out a method that works for me.With the initial decision this was not a one time issue. The intention with the rest was to do a defacto probation, then things escalated from there.Sandeman said:I've said it before. FBG1 needs some sort of mission statement and a policy. Seems some of the decisions this morning were a bit hasty. I understand there may be good reasons for suspending/banning but I can't say from my (lowly) vantage point that we operate all that smoothly. Feels more like a start-up than IBM, which is fine but there comes a point where things need to be cleaner and clearer. Who are the leaders? What are the expectations? Who can attack what village? What are our obligations to check in before attacking? What's being "decent"? One star? Two stars at +10? Occasionally posting our attack "policy" is in a thread that has 280 pages, a policy that seems to shift around, is not a solution. Should be on page 1.
And every decision to suspend or ban has repercussions. Many of us are tied together, tightly or loosely. A decision to ban could have a chain reaction like it did this morning. Perhaps a note to the Clan on the inbox explaining the suspension, seeking input and having a deadline would be a better approach.
And let's not forget. #### happens in people's lives, even those that take this game super seriously and want to do well for the clan.
I'm going to pen a formal apology to skinny. that part of this was completely my bad and I feel awful for it. the rest of it was collateral damage from the initial decision which was long overdue.
Probably will head over to FBG2 (thanks for the invite).
Sorry for the pseudo drama.
2-50 spoken for? Must be nice.If I'm late to the party I'll just sit back and play clean-up hitter. It's not usually a bad plan to see what everyone else has planned.
