Clay Matthews out at least a month... (1 Viewer)

Patrick Wilkis played with a broken hand. Ronnie Lott cut off half a finger to play.

GoldyLocks is quite the p**^y.

Or the team and doctors realize they could do more damage from week 6 on and screw him up for this year and beyond (and they have a huge investment in him).

But hey...whatever Chachi thinks...better go bump a few more old threads.

A broken hand is different from a broken thumb, guy. You could do permanent, lasting damage to one of the most important advantages you have as a human, other than the ability to reason. But you wouldn't know anything about that.

You don't #### around with thumb injuries.

Most uninformed post ever. Don't play doctor. You have NO clue.

Says the guy just telling someone to man up and play (not knowing the severity of the injury or risk to the rest of his season and career.

According to Glazer...already had surgery and is out likely 6 weeks minimum.

@JayGlazer

Clay Matthews injury called a Bennett fracture. Thumb needed to be stabilized w pins bc its dislocated. Pins out in 4 weeks and then probably some more time to heal
So Chachi...not just a man up and play kind of thing...so you do go down as the most uninformed poster in this case.

"Thumb function constitutes about 50% of overall hand function. Failure to properly recognize and treat the Bennett's fracture will not only result in an unstable, painful, arthritic CMC joint with diminished range of motion: it will also result in a hand with greatly diminished overall function."

Yeah, he might want to get that taken care of properly.
