If you look at what Holmgren and Mangini are doing to the Browns, to TOUGHEN them up; its downright impressive. The biggest mistake was likely letting Kellen Winslow leave because he is hard to replace. yet, look at the make over and draft of this year....with Bill Parcells imprint all over it....
Like the Patriots of 1995/96; let's Look what they did this year to toughen themselves up:
A) Dump Kamerion Wimberly, a limited OLB and sign LB Scott Fujita, a proven, even if not pretty veteran LB who will produce.
B) Work on fixing the secondary immediately
raft CB Joe Haden Florida, S TJ Ward of Oregon (who can play FS or SS) and SS Larry Asante of Nebraska
C) Draft a workhorse back with a late round pick. Hello Montario Hardesty, great complement to last year's offensive weapons Jerome Harrison and J.Cribbs.
These are very impressive moves, in addition to the offensive line building blocks they already have in OT Joe Thomas and solid OC Alex Mack.
Im just stunned how fast a football team can turn itself around if they choose a methodical approach to it and emphasize physical play.
