BIG changes though will be on tap for Sunday as much colder and windier weather move in. We will become rainy overnight as a cold front approaches the region. The chance for rain for late tonight and Sunday morning will be 100%, with some heavy rain in areas. After the morning rain, the cold front will come in, temperatures will fall quickly during the afternoon and some of the rain could end as a few snow showers. The most we could see in areas would be a dusting or so by Sunday night. The big weather story though will be the wind and wind chills. Winds will gust up to 45 mph at times giving us wind chills well into the 20s. Holiday decorations and trash cans could be knocked around in the strong winds! Expect a chilly, windy game for the Bengals vs. Browns. :banned:

Thanks for the info.

I'm about 20 miles north of downtown Cincy. The wind is blowing like crazy right now with a cold front going through. There is a wind advisery for the day.

If you are driving down I-75 today, you might notice touchdown Jesus leaning at a 45 degree angle due to the high wind.

Does this forecast really look that bad?

Was thinking of benching DA for VY, but not so sure holding steady isn't the right move here ... don't want to overthink ... benched DA last week, but this doesn't look like the same situation ... also remember this is on a Field Turf surface ...

ChicagoSnow, wind advisory and much colder. Snow accumulations of 1-2 inches possible, especially far west and north. West winds occasionally gust over 40 m.p.h., and morning temps in the 20s fall into the teens this afternoon, resulting in near 0 degree wind chills.

20 VS zero? I'll take 20 anyday.

is that updated often? 19 mph wind is not nearly as bad as the 28 I was hearing about

No one can be exactly sure what the mph of the wind is going to be. Half the time I think some of these places really embellish the numbers to cover themselves in case it is really bad. I would think the cincy weather is a better bet then Chicago today. Not sure you can bench Edwards, CJ or whomever.

My concern is how reliable is undergroundweather compared to the local weather mans forecast...is`nt underground sorta like the weatherchannel...a national weather report ?I always go with the report thats right where the weather is...in cincy.

So is it safe to roll with TJ and Winslow or can i look forward to last week all over again?

IMO it's very reliable. I've used it darn near exclusively for FFL weather and my local weather for a few years now. FWIW.

I'm not a gambling man, but the over-under for points scored in this game is 43 (from bodoglife.com). At least the experts with money on the line are predicting a moderate amount of scoring despite the weather. I'm starting Palmer over Garrard today. Fingers crossed as it is my superbowl.

debating over benching Palmer and picking up a qb on waivers, there are a few out there still. what's everyone else doing?

For Anderson, Edwards and Winslow owners - the Bengals will be minus both of their starting safeties today. If the weather isn't bad the Browns' passing game just got a major boost. Cincinnati's pass defense already stunk but with two backups at safety it will be even worse.

But now I saw this on RotoWorld:

The National Weather Service has issued a "Wind Adivisory" for Cincinnati until midnight. The Browns-Bengals game kicks off at 1pm EST.

The wind is expected to gust to 35 MPH. Temperatures are expected to stay in the low 30's with some light snow falling periodically.

i am rolling with palmer over warner
just have this feeling and i have CJmy opponent has FWP and TO :excited:
I have D.A and there`s no way i`m starting him over warner with cincy weather being an issue...not when warner is throwing 2-3 td`s a game and it`s a sunny 65 degrees in zona...oh ya did i mention they are playing atlanta :lmao:

Benched Palmer for Cutler. I am leaving CJ in there because I have no other options. I think both teams are going to run, run & run.

That's a really juicy matchup. I had to decide between Warner and Peyton. Went with Pyton when he said that he needed time with the new guys. Warner is a quick hit away from calling it a career. I went with the more viable QB. Sure, Warner could likely get more points (higher ceiling) but he also has a lower floor with his brittleness. With FBG ranking them 1 and 2, I went with Manning...

as of this morning Warner is #7 and Palmer is #8

lots of over thinking going on in here if this is the forecast.
I'm in Indianapolis and the winds have been crazy all night and this morning. I was blown all over the road. This same weather has been and will be hitting Cincy during game time. This is just a bad bad situation for all of us who own Cincy / Cle players. Can't bench em without great options. If you do let them ride the pine, you have a chance of regretting it all off season.

Just to make you all fell a little better.

I have to start Palmer, CJ, Evans, and Gould

Our league stops all FA moves in week 12, and I have taken a beating from injuries.
