Baker and the boys heading to The Borough. The Dark Lord will prevail....

Bill's Boys- 27

Bakers Boys- 17

Rhamondre is on my WW, and my opponent is starting Bolden.  I would love to pick him up so he can't, but I have no one I would be willing to drop just to block him.

Big one...these two teams could be tied for one of those last playoff spots so today is the tie-breaker.

Browns take opening drive and score on 4th down from the 2.  Pats answer with 15 play, 9:30 drive on fade to Henry.

Baker bad decision to throw into double coverage, picked off and returned to the 5.  Stevenson takes it in to make it 14-7 NE.

DJ getting chunks of yds the 1st possession so they decide to let Baker just start throwing after that  and he kills them. Don't keep feeding your rb who's getting 9 yds per carry.

Reminds of the Ravens Thursday…Freeman ripped 30+ yards on the first posssesion and then they abandoned the run.

Baker almost picked again. He’s now 1-for-6 targeting WRs this game #Browns

Dawgs By Nature@DawgsByNature

Browns 0-4 on 3rd downs Pats are 3-3 Difference in the game right now

The Browns Wire@TheBrownsWire

That was ugly. Baker's feet were horrible and he showed no comfort out there... Would be nice to see Higgins out there, 6 trusts him

------------------------------------------

Last week Higgins only got 3 snaps all game.  Not being used today.

Mac Jones looking like $$$ so far. Third down chunk play to Meyers on a sideline fade followed by a perfectly placed ball to Bourne for a TD.

If McDaniels keeps up play calling like this, he might have a head coaching job by halftime. NE 21-7 after a 99 yard drive.

No kidding...if this keeps up Felger is gonna have a boring show on Monday.

Patriots with a 93 yard TD scoring drive and a 99 yard scoring drive.  To go with the near pick-six by Baker that lead to short scoring drive.

Pats also could easily have had a couple more turnovers on defense. Uche just whiffed on a fumble recovery and Jackson dropped a would be pick.

Pats looking like a well oiled machine so far. Dare I say circa Brady era. If this were the Celtics, I’d be worried. No lead is safe with them these days.

"Baker doesn't have any weapons!"

But Craig he's not Couch, Weeden, Manziel, Brady Quinn, etc ..

:lmao:
The excuses always made for him are hilarious.  All we heard last week was, "See, he doesn't need Odell Beckham."   How is that working out so far today?

We have seen enough out of Mayfield as a pro to know who and what he is.  He is a below average to average starter at best who can do well when everything around is just right, but if you have to depend on him to consistently make plays when things are stacked against the Browns, good luck with that.

The Browns passing scheme is a #### show high school passing scheme.

maybe he can go to a new team as a backup and work his way up in a better system….

If the media reports are accurate, the Browns intend to sign Baker to a multi-year extension at $30+ million per. At least that was the plan as of a few weeks ago.

Statement game by the Pats...feel comfortable upgrading them to contender status after this one...those two Buffalo games will be interesting.

The passing game is still junior varsity...it was nice to see a modest improvement in that today.

If the D can continue to play at this level I think 19/23-198-3-0 will be just fine...could not be more pleased with what I see from Mac...as far as the passing game goes he is gonna make some rookie mistakes and they need another legit WR or two but it is light year's better then that disaster last year.

My point is that there will be games where the defense doesn't dominate and the run game struggles, and what I see from the passing game doesn't meet the bar of what a contender means to me.  Not that its the QB's fault, but the passing game is fairly anemic.

I think they are a contender, especially with how the landscape of the AFC appears to be playing out...in some past years I would agree that this team could potentially make the playoffs but would not be a serious threat to make a run, but right now everyone in the conference appears to be beatable...with Tennessee and two with the Bills still on the schedule we will know much more but right now I think they are a team that can make some noise but I would agree that they may not have a lot of room for error.

Not many plays were necessary yesterday, but there were at least 3 or 4 wow completions yesterday and another couple-few that appeared simple on tv but were a clinic on manipulating the defense with its eyes. My sample size of 1 dwarfs a Pats fan's perspective, but that team is absolutely a contender.

Thanks for that.  The laser beam to Bourne splitting defenders for a TD was personal favorite :)
