Cleveland At Tennessee (1 Viewer)

How pathetic are the Browns? Two weeks to prepare and they are getting crushed by a ####ty Titans team.  Those poor Cleveland fans.
coming back against a terrible pass D and an O possibly led by Whitehurst still seems possible

halftime kneel

So the one early pass at Griffin that was real dopey but I wonder if they wanted him on his toes or somesuch....other than that, the Titans haven't stopped one pass the Browns wanted.
They've run three? routes short of the first down marker.

The Browns have played Titan football by making a million short yardage plays as if they're all going to amount to some long drawn out drive and not just tiny screen, short run.

The Titans have two DEs playing LB this year. It is a very obvious strength in short yardage and weakness against the pass. Horrible offensive game plan by the Browns.

Maybe they got it fixed, last so often they seemed to throw downfield with ease.

Tate has a serious delay problem with the handoff. You can't give the D a second. That one run was what I'd have expected all year and ...it's just one run.

Crowell hasn't done jack. Been looking for him after the praise here, nothing

Cleveland Browns RB Ben Tate has 11 carries for 77 yards in the first half and came close to scoring getting taken down inside the one yard line with 22 second left.

The 'delay' as you call it isn't a problem. That is part of the running play.

The offensive line is running a zone-stretch blocking scheme so if the hole forms as the line is shifting or sliding so if a RB runs up as soon as the play is snapped he won't be waiting for the hole to form. Kyle Shanahan was using a pitch when he had in the rookie RBs, Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell just to slow them down but Tate waits a tick before taking the handoff so he can see the hole forming.

Locker in long sleeve tshirt

Mettenberger not active today. I don't remember emergency QB rule, can he play if Whitehurst gets hurt?

that's very interesting, at times it looks ugly

two passes to backup 3rd string TE Chase Coffman, time to punt

Ugh looks like previous 3 weeks O

Titans look like garbage, like they have. Penalties and junk on offense.

Pass D still involves DBs being there but actually making a play and not just watching is still a problem. Cameron made a sweet catch but geesh could ya stick your arm out please McCourty?

This drive, Cleveland's line looks like they're blocking a high school defense

Weird play call on 3rd and 3 w tate to be WR and...Hoyer throws it away, 4th and 3

At LOS waste a timeout with tons of time left. Well I guess you better be on same page here, just feels like might be needed later

Hoyer had Jordan Cameron wide open on the crosser at the goal. He should have pulled the trigger much sooner. He looks bad today. The high-ball to 5'6 Hawkins at the goal when he had an easy TD and then... I don't know why he didn't see that since it seemed like his first read and thee designed play there.

That's two failed fourth down conversions in the red zone which are basically turnovers.

see what was that?

2 nothing runs and a short pass to Wright

this is totally what it was the previous weeks.

Where's the first half O?

Wow! Blocked punt for a safety makes it a two score game AND they get the ball back.

Hoyer gets another shot and he should have decent field position.

3 penalties, derrick morgan ejected

guy covering hawkins with penalty bring play back

A brown should be ejected too, there were four guys (two sets of one on one) on the ground

Really didn't expect this much bad blood between the Browns and Titans
Browns start it with junk like late hit on Locker and then helmet slap of Locker, Titans act like bunk after but I sorta half expect a team to respond when their QB is hit late

Dray with a nice play(impressive backup TE today) and then Phillips going at Hoyer for a sack slows down, why? Let him get past you or run if it happens? go get him! Hoyer uses that second or two to step up and hit Benjamin for a TD

Man I loved the first half offense, first I've seen in years, but this second half offense is how it's been-this is why the Titans signed Whis and it's terrible. The penalties are ridiculous and...Whisenhunt is really unimpressive

Whitehurst has no one open and throws it away near Wright who....was cutting across the LOS the width of the field. That is NOT a route! That's garbage

Ooh now a sack

short pass to Washington when they need yardage

Come on, fire this shmoo, he can't coach

man hoyer just stunk it up

Pass batted down, screen drop but Tate was gonna get lit if he caught it, then Michael Griffin picks off a deep pass

Hoyer is the epitome of mediocre.
He's doing pretty good considering the junk he has to throw to. Taylor Gabriel is his top WR?
Hawkins is wide open every play. The dude can't hit the side of a boat. As I'm typing this he misses his back 3 yards in front of him on a screen. Dude is trash. Bring on Manziel already.
Psssh. That's like saying a baseball team is terrible because they leave 10 men on base when they score 8 runs. Its a horrible way to grade a QB. Every NFL QB misses wide open WRs. What matters is production, not missed opportunities.

Whitehurst throws to no one, near Sankey

then sweet play by Cleveland DB

and pass to Walker

where's the WRs targets? see, fire this coach!

Why are you making analogies to baseball? Missed opportunities is actually a pretty good way to grade almost anything. Hoyer has thrown 34 times and completed just 18 of them (19 if you count the one he threw to the Titans). You're telling me if he was 18 of 100 he'd be doing just as well as he is now because it's not about missed opportunities but successes? Seems legit.

Wow. Going for 4th down on your own side of the field with a 6 point lead.

Browns ball with 3:03 and one TO

terrible playcall whitehurst has no legs

cleveland stops em on fourth and inches

ball near 45 with 3 min, down 6

they did the forward progress stopped, blown whistle to stop play, then whitehurst kept trying and fell toward a first like a good second or two after

I hope there's audio on the replay they're reviewing
