Nice schedule left ... Honestly, I thought after watching them week one that DAL would get the #1 overall pick as I assumed the coinflipping QBs was not a good sign and they would feed Quinn to the wolves around week 5 or 6

I guess I owe Crennell an apology

not a bad Fantasy Schedule either for JLew, DA, Braylon and KW3

yes, and I'll go a step further.

After throwing out Bellichick (in my mind) for coach of the year since he was caught cheating this year. I don't believe someone should be caught cheating, fined and cost his team a draft pick and then earn coach of the year for it. That's me.......

I think if they win their division, the Crennel should be coach of the year.

That's right, coach of the year if they win the division. I could dig up a plethera of posts after the start of the season, after they fell 0-2 how they were the worst team in the league. Shoot, Cowboys fans were wondering who they were going to get as the No.1 pick overall since they get Cleveland's pick next year.

But not so fast.......Cleveland's looking Pittsburgh right in the eye down the stretch and I believe they'll catch and surpass Pittsburgh by seasons end.

:lmao: These guys are just plain fun to watch. Their potent offense makes up for their deficiencies on D. I didn't pick up Derek Anderson after his early success because he had Baltimore and Pitt coming up and I figured they would slap the kid (and the team) back to reality. He beat Batlimore and played Pitt tough. I'm a believer now. Hope Quinn gets used to the clip board. While I missed out on Anderson I have KWII in every league and in one league I am 11-1 riding Edwards and Winslow all season. Just added Jamal too because of the playoff schedule. With that schedule and the way the STeelers are playing how can they not make the playoffs. And with them fighting for a playoff/wildcard they are not going to be sitting guys in the fantasy SB weeks where as NE players may be playing a half and going to the showers.

Learning how to win is key for a franchise that hasn't been a perennial playoff contender, and this team is getting a crash course. In the past, the Browns would have set themselves up nice and then would not show up for games like the Texans one this weekend, but they passed this test and should do well down the stretch. A sign of a good team is managing to win while not at your best, and this past week proves they can do that.

That said, assuming Pittsburgh holds on to win the division, Cleveland has a good shot at going back there for the Wild Card game. I believe that the Browns have the personnel to pull off the upset, but I'm worried about being outcoached like they were three weeks ago. LeBeau owned us.

actually, they sandwiched a shootout win against Cincy between the embarassing Pittsburgh loss and the embarassing Oakland loss, but yeah, there was a lot of talk about Crennel being on the hot seat.i think Cleveland will end up with one of the wildcard spots. Crennel has this team focused.

I was looking at this earlier. If the Bengals win out.. they still won't make it because Cleveland will be at least 10-6.

I'd be happy to see it. I have Derek Anderson, and want to see him still playing during the FF playoffs. Remember, lots of folks were worried that he's be pulled for Brady Quinn when the Browns were out of the playoff picture.

In redraft leagues, if you have Anderson, there's no reason not to have Quinn for your playoff run. Quinn has looked great in practice according to the occasional blurb in the Plain Dealer and Canton Repository, is available in 99% or so of redraft leagues and can be very valuable if something happens to DA.

Get real. For that to happen the Steelers would have to lose 2 and the Browns would have to run the table.1 of them is possible, but both? Nah.

And he will continue to own the Browns as long as he coaches. That last game was a mirage, the Steelers dominated offensively and defensively, being special teams what put you in the game. Fortunately, special teams are easier to fix than the very clear defensive issues Cleveland has.

The Browns are maintaining on O and Special Teams, and improving on D. The Steelers are maintaining on D and regressing on O and Special Teams. Considering who you lost to and how you did it, you're in no position to be predicting anything about that enigmatic football team.

How could ANY team be regressing from that special teams performance? The Steelers have dominated the Brownies twice, it will be sweet when they do it again on the playoffs.

You dominated the Charlie Frye Browns once, and sqeaked one out because of your nasty field (Dawson made that same field goal in the same situation the following week in Baltimore). You didn't dominate the second one, not even close. And as for regressing on special teams, yeah, you are. Think the Jets would have beaten you had Leon Washington not returned that punt in overtime 33 yards?

You're good. Unbeatable? Not even close.
