I would have fired him in the offseason. This team has severely underperformed since they went to the series.

He seems like a decent guy so I always feel for dudes like that when the axe man comes, but aside from that insane 4-5 week hot streak that team got on in September-October 2007, didn't that team always under-perform under Hurdle?

Always.I do feel for him cause he is such a good guy, but a change had to be made.
