It was close. The second Clubber fight wasn't even close. For crying out loud, Rocky trained in Russia with the KGB following him!!! He would've beaten Thunderlips that fight.

I think a more interesting question is, whose psyche was more damaged by his loss to Rocky?
While Lang was like the bully who finally got beaten, Drago was the perfect specimen who, despite the aid of steroids, still couldn't win. Plus, Lang at least had a win over an in-his-prime Rocky (albeit with the asterisk of Rocky not being with it thanks to Mickey getting sick), so he would have had an easier time bouncing back after his loss to Rocky. Drago's aura of invincibility was completely gone after he lost.

he had enough strength to lift that Russian guy off the ground with one arm at the end of the 14th rd...that was impressive ...but im sure his psyche didnt matter as he was surely executed by firing squad soon after that fight

No worries. At first I was somewhat mystified by your obsession with gays and blacks, but now I've come to understand. Whenever you decide to be more honest about yourself, there are plenty of gay black men that would be delighted to meet you.

That would be awesome. Unfortunately, I'm several hours away from there. I am going to Newport Beach today though, and I will certainly have a fabulous meal in the sunshine. I wish you could be here with me to enjoy it.

I'd put all my chips on Drago to win this.. Hes got the power & skills to defeat Clubber's weakness; combos. The only reason Drago lost to Rocky was because of a cut above his eye that led to blurred vision.
I go with the Power/skills and the reach advantage. Drago in the 3rd gets his 32'nd KO!

We saw Rocky's real chin agsinst Apollo. Rocky wasn't right in the head against Lang in their first bout.
