Like most here I grew up reading SI and would anxiously await it's arrival each week. Once the internet exploded I let my SI subscription go but occasionally grab one off the rack. SI has some great writers and makes for an interesting read. They have developed a fantastic "brand" over the years.
I can't believe that a venerable and strong magazine would lend it's fabulous brand name to an internet site that is obviously run by hacks. I'm going to limit my criticisms to fantasy coverage here but it runs over into the main reporting by the site. Just look at these 2 examples from today.

Kickers he has listed as starters: Remy Hamilton? Todd Peterson? Unbelievable. If you make that kind of mistake you've got to be shown the door. Loss of all credibility.
And another example from their lead "Fantasy" guy Quitong (who I've always considered to be a joke).

"Just as I mention Steve Smith's lingering hamstring injury making him a risky pick this week, now comes word that he tweaked it again and is now questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. With his status up in the air, it now really might be worth thinking about other starting options for Week 1. If you must stick with a Panther, Keary Colbert likely starts if Smith can't go."
If you're going to be a fantasy expert at least get the facts straight about STAR players.
SI should be embarrassed and should be throwing these guys out onto the street.
