Yeah, that's ok... it might take a while but it's not frustrating to use like the KSG. You can go on pretty good streaks with the m216. I'm at like 110/250 right now.

The whole challenge system is stupid in my opinion. Getting revenge medals?? So you have to die to someone to advance the gun? Silly.I reset my stats and don't miss the diamond shottys at all. The only two worth using are the remington and the ksg anyways. I love the ksg.And also, it's so dumb that getting a Merciless medal doesn't count towards getting your bloodthirsty medals. Twice last night, when I was stuck on 8 and 9 bloodythirsties, I had 10-12 kill streaks with the KSG and only got credit for one bloodthirsty.

My buddy said he read that they are nerfing both the SMGs and the shotties. Also said they are considering deducting 25 points for dying and for an opponent getting your tags. Think he might be serious on the first stuff and trolling me on the second. Boo to any of that.

So here according to a poster in the COD forums, here are the fixes in the upcoming patch:1. More lag for everyone to balance things out.2. Matchmaking that only puts you in foreign lobbies to promote diversity.3. Removing all primary weapons except SMGs since everyone's always commenting on how amazing these weapons are.4. Adding a new feature for the handguns that you simply have to shoot somewhere near the person to kill them due to the handguns being really under-powered currently.5. Increasing UAVs to a 1900 point scorestreak so they aren't spammed anymore.6. Promoting all players to prestige master so the people who are working at it legitimately stop complaining about the hackers.7. Host migrations every 30 seconds to ensure that the lag compensation is more balanced.8. Increase the hit range of the combat ax by 5 meters since throwing it 10 feet in front of a guy and getting a one hit kill is too weak9. Increase the throw range of C4 by 40 meters to make it more realistic They believe this should elevate the game to the absolute best COD (as they've been claiming it is)

On a side note, I can't believe nobody here ever mentioned that the last attachment for the crossbow allows you to shoot 3 bolts at a time. I've been playing exclusively crossbow for my last 4 or 5 matches trying to unlock that. Seems so sweet.

Stupid question but is there a way to see what I actually need to achieve in order to level up a gun? When I go to barracks>primary weapons I just see a bar that fills in as you progress, but there are no denominations or anything like that. Does the gun level up from kills, or is it point-based? Where can I see how many kills/points I need before it levels up? In previous versions I remember being able to see exactly how many kills I lacked.

Found it--@DavidVonderhaar: If you buy the DLC, you have to complete the challenges for the Peacekeeper to get Diamond for SMGs and Assault rifles, since it's hybrid.
He tweeted almost immediately after that was a joke.

Does anyone know of a free website or software to monitor the quality of an internet connection? Not just the max upload/download speed like Speedtest.net, but something more ongoing or a longer test?My buddy's ISP "upgraded" his internet connection a few weeks ago and it has made our gaming experience a nightmare. It is making him host in every single match based on I'm guessing his max uploads/download speeds. But during the actual games, virtually everyone in the lobby is at 2 or 3 bars the whole game. I haven't had a solid green connection since his "upgrade." Some matches it does this weird thing where the game will freeze for a microsecond every single time he dies. If I sit and watch the connections, it will often flash up all yellow/red connections except for him at green. We get at least one "connection interrupted" every match, sometimes upwards of 5. Tons of lag, tons of running and suddenly warping backwards 10 feet. Just unbearable.The worst part is that he refuses to admit that his connection is causing the problem. His connection hasn't been fantastic, but it's been better than everyone else's so his rounds are still pretty good. Is there some sort of website or software I can have him run during a round that will show how messed up his connection is? Is it a packet loss issue or something?All I know right now is that I'm about to stop gaming with my friends if it doesn't get fixed because it's just no fun when the lag is that bad. Last night I would literally shoot at a guy, he would duck behind cover, I would start running after him, and then I all of a sudden got hit markers while running and the guy died. That made for a hilarious killcam, but most of the time it was like that only in the other guy's favor for me.

Just permanently unlock your favorite gun when you prestige and it usually goes much faster to level up.

You have to unlock gold for an entire class of weapons(ARs, SMGS etc.).

Connections have been brutal lately. Especially if you're playing in a party. It took me almost 2 prestiges to unlock the gold for the PDW. I have mp7 and PDW done.NOT looking forward to the vector, that thing is like shooting a toy gun. Any ideas for attachments on it? I'm almost thinking I need to lose the supressor.I'm amazed at the amount of prestige hackers on there now. Looks like it's pretty easy to do, but I keep ending up playing against clans with all Master Level prestiges and all diamond camos. Losers.

Agreed with all of the above. Although there are some legit master prestiges. Played against a guy Friday night that had 17 days played.

This is the last gun I need to finish to get the diamond and so far I'm loving this gun. I used it sparingly during my first prestige and havent touched it since and I dont know why. I use this set-up for it:Vector w/ Fast mage and laser

When we were playing last night I would start to get on a roll, then all of a sudden get a 1-bar connection for about 10 seconds and lose any momentum I had...was very frustrating. Seemed for a while you could tell who had the better of the connection, and then it would flip about halfway through a match. Now it just seems random.
