COD: Black Ops 3 (2 Viewers)

Played against a guy Friday night that had 17 days played. :jawdrop:
You need to check out Zrath's stats then. 687 hours played = 28 DAYS!That's from COD Elite (mobile) so hopefully it's accurate.I know I looked the other night on XBox and he was around #1000 in the world in total score or something like that.

Yup, he gets home from work around 3, plays until 10 or 11 everday. Weekends he plays from when he wakes up until he goes to bed.He almost has Diamond Camo unlocked for all weapons. Only Snipers to go.

Primetime, Z and I got into the dream lobby yesterday, it was so great we had to coordinate kill streaks because we were stacking swarms/lodestars etc. so often.

Lots of fun. But there's just not enough points/kills to go around when it's that easy.

Funny, just yesterday I felt like I must have been on the other side of that. I was playing some kill confirmed on Hijacked and it seemed at about 1.5 mins into the game, the lodestars started pummeling away and never let up. I couldn't even run into the boat cabin off a spawn without getting mowed down. I think I finished 7/33. Teammates were dropping as soon as they'd start. Ugliest game I've ever been in.

I've gone from "definitely buying the DLC" to "likely quitting for good in the near future"...
Why? what changed your mind?
I have limited time to play. I am not whining or crying, but when I play I would AT LEAST expect to be able to party up with a few FBG's and have decent connection and live with what happens. However, when I am losing gunfights and going 20-21 because we are in a party and the other team has the jump on me, it is not fun. When I play solo I don't have as much fun, but at least I am not shooting first and still dying. The inconsistency of this game is maddening in a party. The attraction to this game is there, it is addicting like the first black ops, but the connection is horrendous lately. Another patch coming so I can always hope, but I know what the outcome will be.

I don't know, just haven't been enjoying it. I think I'd have fun if I could get a whole party together who wanted to do nothing but #### around. But most everyone I play with either plays real serious, or is working on gun camos, etc., and then I am almost forced to play seriously, which is when I get frustrated. And anything less than a team of 4-5 is completely pointless... random teammates are just terrible. Also, I think I'd enjoy playing search and destroy with a full team... but the guys I usually play with don't like it, and playing search with randoms makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Nothing but little kids and complete ##### bags playing it.

I hear you guys. I'm still having fun with it, but then again I haven't played the game as much as some of you guys. I don't think I play this too seriously but I admit that sometimes I'm a bit of a tryhard. I've already given up on caring about my stats - this is my worst COD statwise in a long time - I think that has had an inversely proportional effect on my enjoyment of this game as well.I'm down for S&D - love kicking the snot out of whiney little XBL randoms.

I don't care about my stats... I just find that when I'm losing and not doing well that I'm not having fun. :P

Good to see I'm not the only one with awful connections recently. Either the lag comp system is all screwed up or the matchmaking system is totally messed up. Or both. I don't understand because it seemed pretty decent to me when it first came out. It's been horrendous since the last patch.

It seems like you guys run late at night, which is not really an option for me. I miss the days of MW2 and wasting all of Saturday/Sunday afternoons with you guys. Full teams of FBG's are a blast, and I noticed I would level up a LOT quicker when playing together.

So, yeah... the Nuketown playlist is pretty much the only thing you want to play if you're trying to take advantage of the double XP weekend.Just played two games:Kill Confirmed: 49 kills, ~32,000 XPHeadquarters: 64 kills, ~42,000 XP

This gun sucks. I only have a couple of attachments though. The new maps are petty slick.ETA: It has good range and power, but ADS seems like you are walking in mud.

I have to say the maps look good.Still not getting them. I'll let the sweaty try-hards kill each other while I hopefully play noobs on the original maps. Not sure if I will buy and DLC this year. Last two years it was a waste of money.

Guy joins a random lobby and pretends to be a shout caster calling an MLG league match throughout the game, plays it to perfection.

Maps are fantastic. Although if you aren't good with the Peacekeeper you will be in trouble. The Peacekeeper is a machine(much better than Skorpion) at mid-mid/long range and of course everyone is using it. The PK is growing on me, but I still prefer the EVO.

0-69 yards = 4 shot kill (3 if 1 is headshot)70-109 = 5 shot kill (4 if 2 are headshots)110 + = 6 shot kill (5 if 5 are headshots)It's bigger than an smg so quick draw may be help in up close battles against other smgs, but have to agree that the mid/long accuracy is nice.

Finally got a 100 kill game yesterday. 100-15 on Hardpoint. I almost choked though, I had 97 kills with a minute left and could only scrape up 3 kills in the final minute with the last one coming in the last 12 seconds.

Finally unlocked diamond SMGs yesterday. That was a grind. That damn Chicom takes forever. However, I did find that my favorite SMG for Ghost/Supressor/Lightweight/Extreme Conditioning is the Skorpion by far. I had always used the mp7 but if you're looking to flank and get behind the opposite team, I'm a big fan of the Skorpion. Lot of folks seem to hate it's recoil and quick clip, but I think if you are that type of player, mastering the Skorpion is well worth the effort. Will be on ps3 later today. Trying to get to Master Prestige in the next week so I can retire from this game permanently.

I finally unlocked gold with the skorpion last night. Now I just have the chicom and I'm done with smgs. The Skorpion took me forever, I could not get those ten bloodthirsty medals to save my life. It is a pretty fun gun though, takes people down really quick. Any idea when the new maps will be released on ps3?

I've been locked out of xbl for about a week.new security measures have shown that my recent gamer tag email isn't a real domain(apparently my accounts email ends with .con instead of .com)And since I've had the same gt for 5+ years, I can no longer remember my "secret" passcode.Going back and forth with microsoft to get this resolved.

PS3 maps come out the 28th.I don't know if it's because I'm in NJ and the guys I play with are in OH or what, but this game is virtually unplayable for me. About half my deaths I either die from the first bullet on my screen or the guy doesn't even fire his weapon. The killcam shows him firing a whole clip of me of course. With my internet connection, it really shouldn't be this much of a problem, but apparently it is. I was fine until that update they put out right after Christmas. In fact, it probably played better than any other COD for me until that update. Now it's a total laggy disaster. Even more frustrating is that the stupid thing will show a 4 bar connection but it's still clear from the killcams that I'm suffering from massive lag. The only thing I can figure is that they weighted the lag compensation way in favor of bad connections or something.

Personally I prefer the Vector for the same purpose - not quite as powerful but way more versatile. Nobody plays on Xbox any more so I'll probably stick with PS3 for a bit...had fun running with Pollard for the first time in a while and I think he mentioned that you were the other guy in our party early on.

I think the PS3 is more laggy than the Xbox (from my brief experience) and it was horribly laggy (worse than anything I get in Xbox, and for more games) in some games last night.

That was me. I was drunk. I talk a lot anyway. I'm much better suited for objective games though. I have certain classes for each objective game and tend to piss off the competition.Would love to get a league team together now that I've conquered the diamond camos

I need to send out some friend requests to you ps3 guys. I usually start playing objective games more and more after a few prestiges and the randoms make it tough sometimes.

I'm fine playing them, though I'm just not very good at them and they can really get me a little pissed off.I've been in "Just run around and shoot people" mode for so long that objective games can really get under my skin. It doesn't help that I play them stupidly. I just go running towards the objective with no real thought, where there are normally a few well-camped opponents waiting for just such an idiot to come running into their line of sight.

By the time I get around to thinking I need to go about this differently, the objective is moved and the #######s have found new camping spots around it.

I'm the most terrible of our group when it comes to objective games, but as you've seen, most of the others don't play them often either. Everybody generally just likes to run around and shoot people without thinking too much. KC normally just works for everybody, so that's what we end up playing.

Except mex77. He pretty much hates KC. I think you've noticed that he's a proud, shameless camper, and prefers TDM. KC costs him a lot of killstreaks. He's a good sport though, and he's a great guy to have on the team in KC. He'll normally go about 18-3 and leave tags all over the map for us to pick. He also gets the other team in white-hot rage which is always a good time.

But, yeah, I'm down for objective games. I can't always promise I won't stink up the joint and get really annoyed, but I'll give them a shot from time to time.

I cannot camp. So boring. But I probably take it to the extreme because I run around like an ##### and after getting killed immediately charge straight for the enemies spawn once again.

:hey: That's totally me too. Which is why changes in lag have huge effects on my performance. I'm constantly in gun battles that depend on reflexes, stick control and putting bullets into someone as quickly as possible. My buddy always gives me a hard time about my k/d ratio because his is about .5 higher than mine. I counter that my SPM is about 60 points higher than his and that I could make my k/d higher if I camped too. So I'll play a game camping and being bored out of my mind and go 23-3 or something. I hate TDM. The only time I play it is when we have too many guys and have to play Ground War. So I camp in TDM every time. My k/d is way higher in TDM and crushes my buddy's. But it bores me to tears. Sit in a corner. Wait for a couple of guys to come around a corner and kill them. Move to a different corner of the room and wait for the same two morons to come rushing in looking for me in the other corner and kill them again. Move to cover just outside the room and kill the same two idiots again as they rush passed me charging into the room. Rinse, repeat, yawn.

I played last night for maybe 2 hours, and actually had fun. :unsure:I don't think I raged a single time. Got some nice kill streaks going (started one game off 20-0) and generally had a ball.

pS3 tag is swirvenirven on there if anyone is looking for more guys to play with.k/d is 1.46 or around there
CzarNikolaiLet's make it happen.K/D is 1.05 but takes for every to climb as I get better because I'm in 8th prestige. And I'm not resetting my stats and losing my diamond camos. Those things are so sexy
