Looking to put together a full 6 Playstation guys for a Domination clanI have one other that plays Domination "SwirvenIrvin"If you're not proficient in it and are open to taking direction during the match, I'll take you.It's all I play but I end up in random crap lobbies far too often. If we play as a team, it's easy to absolutely rack up the XP in this format.Would ask that you customize classes to compliment others, etc (i.e. - need someone running smoke grenades, need someone running a riot shield, someone running trophy system, etc - we can get into that more).Even if you aren't interested and have a buddy send em my way:CzarNikolai - I play weeknights from 5 PM EST until around 6:30 and then all night some times. Randomly on weekends. I play with a VERY good Domination team but it's a full party of 9 and we can only get in ground war games, I'm not interested in that.Oh and a Mic helps./seriousbusiness

Check your friends list?Sometimes I add so many people I forget who is who is the problem.when I get really drunk on Friday nights, I join random games and play piano and sing "Free Bird", Eagles, Beatles, or Journey songs and everyone adds me as a friend as they are cracking up. My friends list takes up 2 screens because of this shtick.

Instead of fixing the lag issues, the horrible hit detection for quick scopers that gives them a one shot kill no matter where they aim, or the ridiculous throwing range and damage radius of C4, they continuously nerf the guns I like over and over again.Patch today nerfs the PDW more, nerfs the MSMC more and super nerfs the duel KAP40s.

I have no issues with the C4 since I suaully have on Flak Jacket and I agree that the PDW and MSMC didnt need any more nerfs but the FAL and SMR did when used as fully auto

Why shouldn't you be able to throw c4 far? Should it really be that much different than grenades?

NOt IMO and the slowness of the whole thing balances it out to me.

I never will. I cant part with Toughness and/or Scavenger. Its not worth becaung able to toss thinsg faster and switch weapons faster IMO

Either the blast radius or throwing distance needs to be fixed. I'd also be ok with limiting the explosion trigger till after the C4 sticks onto something. But as it is right now, its way OP'd

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. Some people can use them and others can't. I die a lot when trying to toss them or angle them right from gunshots The distance isnt far at all. I'll conceed to the blast radius part but this whole "it goes as far as grenades" stuff is overblown.There's a counter to everything in this game....slap on that flak jacket

Firing as I came thru the door, hit markers, and the guy ADS with a shotty and kills me. 7mbps/800kbps up/down after connectivity test. So I have upgraded to "promised" 30mbps/5mbps from 15/1 and I will be hardwired in with a 10/100/1000 ethernet switch with the newest broadband modem...

Of course, poor shooting will still doom me...and I can die gloriously but faster...

Finally touched my toes into the water of multi-player last night. Just some free for all since I haven't made it through all of the maps, and so I didn't drag any teams down. I thought I was doing ok with my limited weapons against everyone level 40+, hanging with a K/D around even, until I got smoked in my last game. That stupid board that is the Hollywood mansion, I get smoked on that one all the time.

Bandwith doesn't matter for this sort of thing unless you have other people in the house streaming stuff while you're trying to play. I used to have what I think was the slowest possible DSL connection that could still be marketed as "high speed," something like 256K down, and I had absolutely no problem with games like Motorstorm or Killzone or Bad Company 2. What really matters for lag is your ping, which is basically independent of your bandwith.

xbox doesn't have wifi? so you have to plug the xbox into the modem/router? that sounds terrible.

my modem is in the other room so it'd be a huge pain in the ### for me. i'm not sure why a wired connection would be any better but i'm pretty ignorant as far as stuff like that goes.

I'm currently trying to get the Diamond Cammo for the assault rifles so I have a lot of classes dedicated to the gun I'm working on at that time. I'm working on the SWAT556 now (this gun BLOWS) so I have like 4 classes for it.I also have like 2-3 classes set up for the Peacekeeper since I'm trying to get that Diamond as well and the other 3-4 are my main ones I use when I'm having a crappy day but they're built for specific game types in Ground War.

Well, got the new interwebs set up... running speedtest on computer, wireless computer and PS3 all showed marked improvement. Download went from 6-8 Mbps to 9-12 Mbps and more importantly, the upload went from 700-800 kbps to 2.5 Mbps...Noticed right away that gun draw battles were much more equal and I was winning more than losing. It was nice hear "That's ****ing bull####" more times than me saying it lol...At the very least, it has certainly cut down on my COD frustration and I run n gun more on maps I used to just camp in (Raid, Aftermath, Turbine and Overflow)...

Patch did what they wanted and destroyed it. Sorry Tony, you should have done the PDW a while ago. Was definitely the best gun in the game originally.

Yeah, the problem is they nerfed it (and the MSMC) twice now... luckily, already golded PDW and need a couple of bloodthirsty medals for Skulls and Gold for MSMC. Definitely notice the MSMC jumping a lot more now...I haven't used the PDW since golding it but the only good thing about it was the huge mag for those of us with heavy trigger fingers

Yes, LMGs pretty much suck. Some people like the MK46 with Grip or Silencer, but I still seem to get way too much recoil for my tastes.I fill up my classes in several ways.

1) I have a class setup just for the opening of Domination rounds. I sprint out to B flag immediately with a Riot Shield and some sort of pistol equipped. I toss out a smoke grenade and trophy system, plant the riot shield, go prone behind it and can capture B right off the bat about 75% of the time. I then typically die pretty quickly, but it's a huge team benefit to get B off the bat.

2) Blind Eye Class. I have a class just for shooting down enemy air assault. Nothing sucks more than an enemy having up a Stealth Chopper and it just keeps racking up kills because nobody on your team has anything to shoot it down with.

3) I then have various classes setup for different guns I'm having fun with. So right now I have two different Peacekeeper classes. One has lightweight and Hardline and attachments to be very aggressive and rack up scorestreaks quickly. Another Peacekeeper class has a silencer, Ghost, Cold Blooded, Engineer, etc. This class I'll use if there are a lot of enemy UAVs up and I'm playing more cautiously. I then have a shotgun class for maps like Hijacked or Plaza. I have an AN94 class for some of the larger maps or those with open lines of site like Cargo. I had a sprinting class that I used for laughs with just dual KAP40s, Lightweight, Scavenger, Dexterity and Extreme Conditioning.

Great, as usual, my timing is impeccable. I just started using it yesterday. I can't even kill a guy hip-firing point blank with a laser sight.

FWIW, I hated the gun before the first patch and did better with it after All of the SMG's are good, IMO. I got diamond for them all pretty quickly and thought the Vector may have been the easiest of them all to get gold with.

The good news is that enjoying COD is a matter of expectations and perspective, and has nothing to do with skill.I'm a mediocre player with spurts of being a little better or a lot worse, but I enjoy the game more than many a lot better than me. The guy going 30-8 is quite often having a miserable time. Often the are constantly #####ing about the connection, the tactics of others, and are always one bad death away from needing a Throw Control. They expect to and feel entitled to go 100-0 every match, so anything less makes them miserable.The only times I've hated the game are when I start thinking I'm better than I am.Just get it, keep those low expectations and you'll have fun.

At shooting down opposing air support (gold launcher :flex or rolling my teams care packages....oh, and cannon fodder. Other than that I pretty much suck, but when you are playing with a regular group it can still be a lot of fun. I don't play much anymore if I log on and none of the people I play with are online.

This is one of my problems. I have the ability to go 50-10, and it has happened. But sometimes nothing goes right and I go 8-20. It's hard for me to accept and is what gets me riled up.

I then have a shotgun class for maps like Hijacked or Plaza. I have an AN94 class for some of the larger maps or those with open lines of site like Cargo. I had a sprinting class that I used for laughs with just dual KAP40s, Lightweight, Scavenger, Dexterity and Extreme Conditioning.

You'll probably get slaughtered at first, but you'll catch up. Bogeys is pretty old and he's really good. The good news is that enjoying COD is a matter of expectations and perspective, and has nothing to do with skill.

I'm a mediocre player with spurts of being a little better or a lot worse, but I enjoy the game more than many a lot better than me. The guy going 30-8 is quite often having a miserable time. Often the are constantly #####ing about the connection, the tactics of others, and are always one bad death away from needing a Throw Control. They expect to and feel entitled to go 100-0 every match, so anything less makes them miserable.

The only times I've hated the game are when I start thinking I'm better than I am.

Just get it, keep those low expectations and you'll have fun.

It's like going to the casino. The guy going 30-8 but constantly #####ing is like the old pro playing blackjack at the $5 table and complaining about people not playing by the "book." But, if you suck, but are fine with losing $50 for a nights worth of entertainment and know that going in, it can be a fun time.

Whenever I see or hear about the new guys starting it makes me think back ti when I started on COD 4. I didnt pick the game up until late and never played FPS games prior to the series either. What I thought was cover or the places I used to go make me I also remember chasing my brother (who was on my team) and emptying about 2 clips in him and wondering why he didnt die....or those times I could hear them through the TV giving me encouragement like "Go hide!"

The most fun I have in CoD (and other competitive multiplayer games) is when I just #### around. Knife only, smoke schtick, trophy system schtick, etc.
