Thank God I switched to Kill Confirmed, TDM is just one big campfest.

I got my SPM up to 260 and now Im put in the next tier of matchmaking (which I support) but now Im definitely low man on the pole and get consistently owned by 500 SPM every match.
Kill Confirmed is the best thing to happen to the frnachise.
I primarily play Hardcore KC and I don't notice most of the issues you guys have brought up. In fact I tried Arms Race the other day and remembered why I like hardcore so much, because it seems to take a half a clip to kill some of these guys on the regular version.

Double XP weekend.
Just Master Prestiged about a week ago... Good luck, Worm...rip it up!

Sure could use a weapons double XP though... working on assault rifle diamonds now. Even though you only need the camos done to get diamonds, I like to get the mastery for weapons too...I think that is the obsessive/compulsive disorder coming thru...

Three more bloodthirstys and I have my first gold weapon!

What a slog. I can't imagine doing this again. Not to mention I'll never want to use this weapon again after its gold so I won't even be walking around with a gold weapon ever.

Had a sweet 5-man C4 kill this weekend. :hifive:

Unfortunately didn't get to play as much as I would have liked to take advantage of the double XP. I think I made it up to level 30ish.

I've never played much Hardcore before. For the last two weeks I've played Hardcore Domination almost exclusively. It's unbelievable how much better it is than regular Domination. It seems so much more consistent on being able to kill people. The small number of bullets it takes to kill someone means there are very few times where I setup a guy, fire first and still die. With lag comp, that seemed to happen a ton in regular modes because I could start shooting , a guy could turn around after a few shots at him and pick me off. That simply doesn't happen in Hardcore.

I've been struggling around the 1.0 k/d mark ever since the major network/lag comp update in December. Now I'm ripping off huge games again in Hardcore.

The only 2 things that suck are guys with noobtube attachments and the huge delay in the Lightning Strike. I got kicked from a match last night when I called in a Lightning Strike while the enemy was taking a flag and it spawned in 3 teammates at that flag while it was coming in. If it came in more quickly that wouldn't happen as easily. The automated killstreaks kind of suck sometimes too as stealth choppers especially seem to target teammates way too often.

Ask and ye shall receive! With the new maps coming out for PS tomorrow, there is a 2X Weapons XP this weekend... suh-weet!

I have to agree with others in here, the new maps suck. I only like Studio. Enjoy, though!

Finally golded the first smg last night. Played with it a couple of times in league games, and it was mildly rewarding walking around with a gold gun.

I get the most enjoyment playing with different weapons each game, though. I like particular weapons for each map, so I enjoy doing a different map each time and changing weapons, so trying to play a map with a weapon that makes little sense (shotgun on a big map or something).

I haven't done much at all with the pistols, so I guess that would be the next change...be one of those tools running around with pistols for the whole game. And by tool, I mean those guys that usually take me down even though I have them outgunned.

Don't forget from 50 yards away....

I guess the "in" thing to say is that these maps suck

IMHO, they're awesome. I LOVE the detail and think every one of them plays well too. I really hope they keep the 150 TDM too

Trying to get the Pop Goes the Weasel achievement on Black Ops 2 Mob of the Dead. Need 2 more. My son and I can do the entire thing alone but you have to do it in 4 player co-op. Xbox gamer tag is Gmanx23.

Finally(!) got my Nuclear Killer last night. Took way longer than I thought it would, but it is fitting that it also came during the same match that put me into Master Prestige. So I guess I can put away this game for good now.

Finally started playing Alcatraz and figuring out what I'm doing. This thing is amazing.

Bogeys, we played for far too long last night and came up with a pretty solid order of doing things (we were able to get to the bridge in round 7 and 8 in a back-to-back games).

Big difference was skipping the Gondola altogether early on and leaving 2-3 zombies walking in every round (after the 2nd or so).

Like always, we'd split up to feed the first dog and get the Warden's Key first (and open the showers). We were actually starting on the first dog in round 1 which knocks that out much quicker.

Once those are both done, we'd go ahead and get the shirt with both people (makes it much easier doing it early, with both people and at the end of a round).

Then we'd go open the roof, feed the dog, and drop off the 2 plane parts.

Somewhere in this range, hit the box a couple of times.

Then instead of the gondola, we'd start opening up the tunnels, grab the part in the elevator. (with 4 people, I'd guess they could start that while the other pair does the infirmary/2nd dog/roof stuff).

Take care of the dock stuff (Jug, 3rd dog, electrical room, gas tank, finish the shield parts).

Go back through the tunnels to get back to the roof to drop off the parts, picking up the hell's retriever along the way, hitting the box if necessay, and and making the shield, if possible.

Somewhere between round 7 and 9, it was time to make sure you've got a good gun and some decent perks and head to the bridge.

Agreed. This zombie mode is the best part about this game. I've made it to the bridge 3 times and gotten the hells retriever tomahawk. There is supposed to be some really cool ending if you make it that far but you have to make it to the bridge 3 times, get the tomahawk & the golden spork. You also have to get some skulls with the tomahawk. I'm on ps3 if anyone wants to party up and try to finish this. Ps3 username is HuberJA

Sure, I'm PolrdsVision. We've got a lot of PS3 guys that play from here (or know people from here). A mix of a bunch of WI guys, some NC guys, Bogeys and Gianmarco. A few love zombies. The rest mostly hate it. In Gianmarco's case, he absolutely loathes it and it even scares him a little (though he tries not to use that word, but it's nothing to be ashamed of).I'm still not very good (I haven't even begun to start being able to think about the Golden Spork and actually don't know what it is), but I'm starting to get better.I just figured out how to get the elevator part last night.Making it to the bridge twice is the best I've done (in games without being completely carried by better players).

That explains why I never see him playing it. lol

Starting to enjoy the Zombies more since there is an actual objective. Getting things done in early rounds seems to be the key.

:begin rant/whine:

A couple times in the last few weeks I have had to just log off this game while playing the MP. Seems like some days/nights I will be in games and after dying I will watch the killcam and they don't match up at all. I don't shoot at all after expending a whole clip or maybe only once and the player that killed me is in a different spot then what I saw...usually just a second or 2 different in perspective but that is plenty to be decisive. This used to happen when you would run into the host of the game, now it seems to happen where there will be 2-3 people from the other team that have this advantage. When this used to happen i would seem to start with one team at an advantage then halfway through the game it would flip so it would even out, frustrating but manageable. Now it just lasts the whole game.

Doesn't seem to be as bad when in a full party vs just 1 or 2 friends so maybe it is something to do with match making. Just know that it is getting easier and easier to talk myself out of even putting the disk in anymore unless there is a whole group online playing. Really hope they fix the match making and lag comp crap in the next version but I doubt it since it will be a huge seller even if they don't fix it. Just wish some real competition would come out for the franchise.

:End of whining/rant:

Finally(!) got my Nuclear Killer last night. Took way longer than I thought it would, but it is fitting that it also came during the same match that put me into Master Prestige. So I guess I can put away this game for good now.
Which one is Nuclear Killer? I can't remember.

I looked up what you have to do to get the Golden Spork and that's just stupid IMO. There is just simply no possible way that anybody figured all that out on their own. Impossible. I enjoy zombies, but it's gotten to the point where they make some of the stuff absolutely impossible to figure out without hacking or looking it up online.

Its the 30 kills without dying one. Got another one last night with an 84-5 game with Soberm0nkey. Prob my best score ever in regular dom.

Ran into a weird game over the weekend. Was playing Dom on Hijacked and started hearing constant explosions thru out the round. My team was destroying the other. Eventually start noticing 3 guys on other team that would spawn and immediately switch to the rocket launcher, aim down and kill themselves. Then repeat, it was bizarre. They ended up with over 100 deaths apiece. Is there an achievement of some kind or just drunk people acting stupid or something?

Could be reverse boosting.

New map packs are not great. Other than the Summit remake, they are all pretty small and plain vanilla, and its not like Summit is a large map either. I guess its a reflection of a community that wants to play Nuketown 24/7 so they can quickscope people from 5 feet away. Sad how the COD community just gets worse and worse. Anyway, if you are on the fence with this, I'd recommend a pass.

I assume this is free with the season pass?

I haven't fired up this game in a while, but I could stand to check out some new maps.

Yes it is. Don't be afraid to join our sessions if you are feeling lonely

So tired of the cheaters/hackers. At least one out of every 7 or 8 games I run into someone with like 110 nuclear medals and 2500 Unstoppable medals. There's just zero chance of these guys running off 55+ kill streaks that many times. There have been 2 patches out since I started seeing it and Treyarch has yet to do something about it.
I bet those were boosters not hackers/modders. You can view their game history and see if that is the case. I verified it on a few guys I ran into with ridiculous KDrs and medals.

The COD hackers usually keep a low profile until the games are 2 releases old because it's an insta-perma-ban if you get caught hacking the games they are still making a lot of money on.

There is a hack/modders site called se7ensins.com. I have been on there recently looking around to see if people are hacking blops2, and I only saw a couple of random threads on it, and only one that mentioned a multiplayer hack. I really doubt most of us are running into any of those guys.

I bet most legitimate complaints are related to lag and lag compensation. They really messed that up. They should have just stuck with the host gets a slight advantage like the original blops had. A slight reward to one player for having an awesome connection beats the crap out of the obvious penalty it carries now resulting in all these rage quit host migrations.

The last couple weeks I have been seeing a lot less host migrations, and my KDr is going up so I have been wondering: Did they tweaked the lag compensation recently?

Which is the Summit remake? Upload?

I like them all except Detour.

I think it's called Uplink.

I don't really like Detour or Rush. Both maps have too many obsticles and hiding spots for snipers to hit you before you have a chance. I'm getting old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. I can't see the enemy players with all that junk everywhere.

This is why COD sucks. On another note I heard recently that presales for BF4 are outpacing those for COD Ghosts.

If that's the case, then you can expect these controllers to be taking over Battlefield in the same manner they have CoD.

Tried to play for a little while but got frustrated. Similar to how MW2 devolved into Nubetoob hell, this version has turned into nothing but quick scopers. Played some Domination against a team of guys who pinned my team in one area, died constantly in the spawn or just a few steps out of it from endless sniper fire.

They should nerf the sniper rifles at close range. Ridiculous a guy can quick snipe me from like a foot away. Seems like that's all I see on any of the smaller maps now.

Master Mod - Our master mod is the ultimate upgrade. It combines all add-ons in one, at a discounted price.
This is why COD sucks. On another note I heard recently that presales for BF4 are outpacing those for COD Ghosts.
If that's the case, then you can expect these controllers to be taking over Battlefield in the same manner they have CoD.
They probably will. But the advantage that BF has over COD is map size. Sure there is CQC in BF, but I am not forced into only CQC when playing BF. So guys can drop shot and rapid fire all day long. They will kill me. But it wont be nearly as advantageous to them in BF as it is in COD. They wont be getting their precious Dogs, Chopper Gunners or Nukes and I'll still be capping flags and winning the match.

Sorry Clawyer....I wouldn't have minded playing Blops 1 yday but unfortunately I've lent the game out to a friend. Also, I don't believe Cardfan has it any more either. I'm up for some MW2 tho, if anyone has that...would be fun to have some retro COD

I'm getting back into BF3 if anyone is interested...

New maps out for PS3 today. Played them on the son's xbox already, not overly impressed but nice for a change of scenery.

Does anyone know if the PS3 will cross play with the PS4 (or xbox360 and xbox1)? I don't imagine they will, but haven't heard for sure. Going to suck if half the folks I play with only have 1 or the other since I won't be buying both versions.

So after almost a year after release of this game they finally allow the countdown to the start of a game to continue when players enter/leave the lobby instead of starting over each time!

I just recently started playing zombies, kicking myself for not getting into that game mode earlier. Think I might prefer it to regular multiplayer. If any ps3 guys are still playing this let me know, I'd like to play with people who know what they're doing so I can get some tips.

I'm not sure where to put this, but seeing how something came up playing Black Ops 2 rather than Ghosts:

I'm trying to get Diamond Camo on all the LMGs (I know, stupid, but having a goal in mind makes the game more fun for me). I've already done it for SMGs and Shotguns (I freaking love running around like a maniac with an S-12). So anyway, my son got on my case for playing with an LMG. Said I need to stop using it because people make fun of us (we share my account) for being a Nube. (Yes, I use an LMG with a silencer and a target-finder). Said that people think it is cheating.

I was incredulous. I have to put up with idiot quick-scoping, and not even aiming, and killing me before I even move. (Tip: Playing "kill-confirmed" cuts down on the quickscopers). I told him that quickscopers are the real suck in black ops. He tells me that quickscoping takes skill, and LMG just makes me a nube.

So who's right?
