Loving this game.

But I don't love the nerfed bullets in hardcore. In MW2 and COD4, many guns were one (or two) shots for a kill. No way should anyone survive a bullet from a LMG point blank.

SIL (and her kids) spent the night Saturday night so we could leave before the sun was up.

We should have a team of FBG's all run sentry gun on a domination game... everyone (hopefully) gets their gun during the first round, then we put them all out in round 2 covering each other...

Would be pretty funny...

 
I run EMP nades solely now, a guardian or sentry gun don't last longer than 10 seconds in any game. I think a lot of folks are doing the same.

Yup. The EMP grenades are actually OP I think. I'm not opposed to them taking out equipment that fast necessarily, but to also have them disable enemy HUD as well makes them extremely powerful. I mean, it takes like 3 rockets to take out an AGR but just one EMP grenade I think. That's nuts.

Actually takes two to take out an AGR, only one to take out a dragonfire/sentry/guardian...their radius is huge too, if you throw in the general direction you're bound to knock out the stuff.
 
Believe me, everyone doesn't run EMP nades. There are some lobbies where they are not as useful, but in a lot of games my Sentry will get a ton of kills and lock down an area for a good amount of time.

Even if a Sentry doesn't get you more than a kill or two, if it locks down the B flag area for 30 seconds it's extremely useful for the fairly low streak that it is.

Even 2 for an AGR is easy as long as you have 2 equipped. Like you said, huge radius, you can throw them from a long distance and you can get them out super quick, especially if you have Quick Hands on. I love tossing them out towards B flag at the beginning of Domination games. Not only can I take out any C4 an enemy is tossing, but I can usually affect 2-3 guys with them. Easy EMP assist points if my teammates kill them.Either that or I toss one or two trophy systems. With everyone always launching grenades at B it's quick and easy points and helps me capture B off the bat easier too.

I didn't realize it took out the HUD of those around it. I'll probably start running this as well.

Goes through walls, above and below ground. I am almost always EMP'd when running under the hijacked ship under B flag.
 
Zrath and I got into the best lobby I think I have experienced since playing Blops 2. Over a 10 game span I went 435-139. Yeah big deal, it was a blast though.

 
Finally found a clan and wow what a difference it makes! I never seen to many VSATs and Loadstars so fast before! Seriously 3 minutes into every game it seemed like we had all 3 flags!

:unsure:GF bought me this game for Xmas.. Think I may just stick to that horde/zombie mode thing to avoid the frustration of getting my ### repeatedly handed to me. Not sure if I have the patience to get past the learning curve on a game this complex...
 
I tried the sticks and stones today. Just as frustrating as the gun game. Just as addictive as well.

I still suck at this game. I am to the point of just accepting that I may never be good. Having said that I cant get enough of it. It is really fun.

 
Didn't start having fun last night until I started trolling people with the riotshield/C4 combo. I got 5 or 6 VSATs with that thing.

 
Interesting video on the fore grip. 5:05 starts showing the spray patterns. Very surprising that on some guns it actually seems to hurt having it on.

 
Engineer along with EMP Grenades get you a LOT of XP without getting kills.

Especially useful in games like Headquarters where the opposing team tries to booby trap the HQ with explosives.

Engineer is a must for me in this game. There are so many damn triggered explosives, sentry guns, guardians that blow me up without it.

 
New DLC

The DLC is to include four maps Hydro, Grind, Downhill and Mirage. Plus one new Zombie map called "Die Rise". Also, a new SMG called the PeaceKeeper will be added as well.

Supposed to be out for Xbox on Jan. 29th.

Do the Bootcamp Level 1-10... once you hit level 11, you are locked out from Bootcamp but can do the other option in combat training (1/2 the XP). You can unlock the PDW quickly under SMG and not go into the fray naked. Always surprises me when I see a level 1 in hardcore (though, that's what I did...idiot that I am). I had my nephew run Bootcamp this weekend when he first started out. It's a good learning curve...
 
I bought this on a post Christmas special. LOVED logging in as a level 1 and having people in the lobby expect me to be another course of Christmas Noob fresh meat. :lmao: :lmao:

I'm still learning the maps but I had one wicked game where I went 28-8. No fresh noob meat here suckas.

 
The connections on PS3 have been BRUTAL this week for me. I played both at my friend's house in Ohio and they were awful and at home here in NJ last night and they were awful. So so so much lag. Virtually unplayable. Every single match I had last night started with a "Connection Interrupted." I'm not sure what that was all about.

 
Finally found a setup that I like, on most maps.

FAL - Target Finder, Select Fire

KAP 40 - Extended Mag

Ghost

Toughness

Extreme Conditioning, Dead Silence

Select Fire on the FAL is really nice from Mid/Long range. Any time I get close to entering a smaller area or building then I switch over to KAP40. Lose out on closer battles, but because of the way the gun fires on auto I don't feel the need to always reload (but do too often anyway).

Same here. Been having trouble all day.Probably logged a good 36 hours of game play this week :bag:
 
Ran around last night with just the Kap40 plus perks for about 5 matches last night. Lots of fun. Can't wait to unlock dual wield with them.

Really, it inspired me to have more fun and try new things. Also inspired a HC S&D class with a silenced five-seven. :xsmfxmunga30:
