Looks like a slopfest at New England tonight. No serious wind issues but plenty of rain and a potentially ugly field. Anyone sitting one (or more if you have them) of these WRs tonight based on the potential conditions?

I'm sitting Cotchery. But not because of the weather. But because he's been a huge fail this season. Hasn't done anything for me since Week 4.

Ugly field can also hinder the D. Moss catches short passes and makes people miss tonight on a slippery field -- over 100yards and a TD. Mark it down.

I am definitely playing Welker. This guy may get 15 catches tonight in that kind of weather. Sure hands, short routes, high percentage passes.

On the other side of the ball Keller could do well also

In another league I had planned to start Cotch. May bench him for A. Bryant.

Same here--sitting Cotch, but it has nothing to do w/ the weather. Favre hasn't looked good (I suspect he's nursing some sort of nagging injury; pure speculation on my part) & Cotch's targets have been all over the place. I'd rather decide between VJax or even Holmes at this point. I seriously think Holmes could be a sneaky play this week vs. SD & w/ Ben getting in a full week of practice for once. Hard, however, to sit VJax as he's been producing for the past month. I think I'll be taking a flier on Holmes, even with that said...

Sitting Cotchery. He has killed me the last 2 weeks.I have to play MOSS no matter what though.
6 for 62 isn't too bad. i'm playing cotch.. only other option is galloway and i'll wait a week on that.unless you think the jets are gonna go up 40-0 by halftime i think he'll do better than last week.

One thing about Cotchery this season is whenever he's had a bad game he's followed that up with a healthy number of receptions the following week:Week 3: 10-76-0 after 1-20-0 in Week 2Week 8: 9-102-0 after 1-0-0 in Week 7Week 11? He's also historically had good games against the Patriots although his 1-20-0 stinker in Week 2 did come against New England.

Field Turf gets sloppy???I am starting Cotchery, always an advantage on wet turf, especially the slant routes Favre loves to throw.

OK, now I'm torn. I sat him for Ward against the Chargers (I also have A. Bryant) and now I want to start the guy. GGGAAAAHAHHHHH!!!!

Between Cotch and Curtis for me. But since I'm leaving for the Cavs game shortly, I'm just gonna stick with Cotch and hope for the best.

I have them both in 2 different leagues and Im sitting them both.

Coles- sitting him in favor of Wayne, Housh, Bowe, Avery, or Roy. Need 2

Cotchery- sitting him in favor of Colston, Desean J, Avery, or Bowe. Need 2

Dont think I can go wrong so I hope it works out for me.

OK, now I'm benching Bryant for Cotch and Ward. At least that's now. Give me 20 minutes and I'll change it again. And of course there's all that time to think while I'm driving home to change again. Then after a  I might just change it up one more time

This is a good point and has me thinking about starting him nowIn my main league though, I still dont think I can start him over Owens or Bowe though

Coles vs. Curtis for me... and I'm sticking with the NYJ guy too. I think Cotch or Coles has a better chance for a multi-TD game than Curtis.

Sitting Coles for Bradley. For now.Still have 2:25 to change my mind another 30 times.
I've been going back and forth between Cotchery and Jason Hill about the same number of times.
Hill is in my rotation as well. At the risk of generating a who cares about your team comment, I'm hedging my bets for the moment. I have Cotch in over Moore, Avery, Walter and Hill with Jamal Lewis at the flex. This means, that I can now agonize over my flex position on Sunday. What fun!I'll be back in 30 minutes once I've changed my mind, but I've about convinced myself that both Cotch and Coles took Favre to the side, and threatened to beat the snot out of him if they didn't see some serious action this week.PPR, by the way.

I'm starting Welker but sitting Coles this week. Welker should continue to see his usualy targets and a TD would be nice to see too.

Also think Moss is a good play because of the weather.

In an 8 team, non-PPR league, I'm racking my brain over picking two out of Boldin, Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, and Welker. Boldin is a given, but I'm tempted to sit CJ tonight in favor of Welker. Something tells me Welker scores tonight. I consulted the cheatsheets (Dodds and Bloom) and took the average. CJ is 0.1 points higher. No help there! What would Yudkin do?

Starting Cotchery over Moss against the grain this week. I see the Patriarchs taking away the hot hand TJ and forcing Favre to force the action. I did just work 14 hours over and haven't caught up on my sleep.

My WR's are Plaxico, Santonio Holmes, Cotchery, Reggie Brown, Matt Jones, Michael Jenkins and Chris Cooley (start 3).

I'm hesitant on Plax vs B-More. And, I just have a feeling on Cotchery tonight. I'm in CT and it's not that bad here. Not raining hard, not too windy. I really don't think field conditions will be all that bad. Just a hunch.

I'm sitting Welker as my flex WR and going with Hines Ward. However, I am starting Thomas Jones instead of Ryan Grant.

I guess I am sitting Welker and Moss and sticking with Calvin Johnson. I would not at all be surprised if CJ lays a stinker and Welker scores a TD tonight. But I just can't find a compelling reason to sit my stud WR.

See, this is what sucks about having sick depth on your team

If I was thinking about starting Nate Washington or Lance Moore, Cotch wouldve been an easy choice

But when you gotta choose him instead of Bowe or a Questionable Bush, you run into hit or miss calls :lmao:

Cotchery is a punchline.
:lmao:In my redraft (non-PPR, FBG scoring), he was WR27 entering this week and had scored 7 or more points in 7 of 9 games. If you think that's a punchline, you must play in a league that doesn't start many WRs.And LOL at anyone who benched him. (I started him.)

i benched V jackson for cotchery tonight.

Of course i was pissed with 1 catch -1 yards until that last long drive . Now it looks like agreat move.

To bad MOSS still sucks.
