What is a Nittany Lion? If there not enough interest here does anybody know of a forum where you can talk college football? Something not geared toward fantasy stats but more about the matchups and the game.

Yes, even aside from my love for college football, would be good for us dynasty folk already looking ahead to next year to have a place to congregate and compare notes.

I've discussed this with a few members of the staff over the past six months and they are all for it. I have gone so far as to PM my feelings to Mr. Bryant. I think we all just need to be patient and eventually this will be done. I am just guessing though.

IN THE MEANTIME, there's always college footbal discussion on Saturdays in the FFA. It primarily revolves around gambling and homers. That's fine, but if those of you who wanted a specific board woould spend some time in the FFA discussing college football, maybe we could scratch the itch without a specific board.

ALSO, I cannot recall a mod moving a college based thread here to there, so perhaps it's a kosher topic here. We just need more participants.

Yes.

I think Joe & David would be pleasantly surprised by the amount of traffic--there are a lot of die-hard college fans there would would congregate toward a general purpose discussion board (as opposed to FSU specific etc.)

Would also tend to improve the dynasty insights around here, especially around draft time.

I would enjoy seeing college football here because the info sharing would be coming from people that are smarter football people than some of the garden variety posters that are more fans of their team than students of the game.

Great idea. Lots of folks follow college football, but most have a conference the follow most. Everyone being able to comment specifically on a conference they are most familiar with would be great.

I agree with either changing the Baseball forum to all sports not NFL, or making a completely new forum solely for college football. Changing the baseball forum to all sports not NFL would probably be easier initially for Joe and staff.

QFTIt is a struggle as it is to get quality college football talk in the FFA. If you want to talk college football, do it there.
