Ridder is pretty terrible. A little concerned.
What may keep even Ridder afloat is the schedule: ATL, JAX, @NO. Three terrible defenses.
Didn't see the game, but perplexed by the targets. Mayer dramatically out targeting Bowers just seems stupid unless the Raiders are truly in tank mode like a couple of my Raider buddies are absolutely glowing about lol

Not sure it’s “stupid” .. Mayer, lest we forget, is an elite TE - of course Bowers is on another level, but there IS a world that they can both exist. They are arguably the best offensive weapons that the raiders have. If not for bowers? I would have put Mayers in the McBride type season this year.
Bowers is all world. But Mayer is legit.

He was a decoy for most of yesterday. They had him running routes to clear out space for 5 yard dump passes for like 80% of their drives - most of which like 6 plays or less.
Ridder is worthless. Aiden at least gives them a bit of offense so hopefully is back or we are looking at another 4 catch for 28 yards type game.
Not a big shock but Raiders are just a rudderless org.

Both the receptions by a rookie + most receiving yards for a rookie TE records broken on the same day. LFG!
Also set the Raiders single season reception record. Not just by a rookie, but overall. More catches than Tim Brown ever had. More than Waller or Adams.
No way he makes it past 15 overall in drafts next year.

I've seen people say the state of our QB play + lack of other weapons actually benefits him, as the passing game is forced through him via short easy completions. What they also fail to mention is just how many missed throws he experienced (Multiple TDs) and the fact the D only has to focus on him / put their best cover S/CB/LB on him.And to think what he did with complete garbage from the QB position.
Dude is a freaking elite player who's only going to get better. Definitely could be on a HOF trajectory (As corny as that sounds only given one season).
