**Colts at Texans**(-5, 45.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Colts cover the spread but fall to 4-4, seems like better QB pay would have won this game, why not turn to Flacco at Halftime?
Poor coaching IMHO unless he is under orders from the Owner/Gm, front office or whoever
Same thing in CLE. Watson wasn't the best option for a team trying to win as today's game showed.
I blame the Colts less. Flacco gives the best chance to win, without doubt to me. Ecstatic they did not make a change.

But you make that change and you are giving up on Richardson. Drafting at #4 a QB who isn't already trending towards NFL level passing skills was not smart. But I can see them giving him more time. They signed up for it so need to. Need to give him at least the rest of the year. Unless giving up on him.

It makes sense to me to keep Richardson going as this year’s priority has to be developing him and assessing if he’s the future. We haven’t quite seen enough to know he isn’t.
Watson is what he is at this point.

Everyone forgets AR missed most of his rookie season, although he looks really bad, IMO need to give him at least another year of development

I disagree that if you replace him you’re giving up on Richardson. If his skin is that thin then maybe you do give up on him.

How many games is this for him? 11 or 12? Hasn't had even a season.

Maybe I’m being pessimistic about the colts but I really don’t think they’re winning a playoff game this year. Is a chance at making the playoffs more important than developing Richardson? I don’t think so but then my team needs a new QB too.

I am still shocked that Steichen had AR throw not 1 but 2 passes while backed up on their end of the field. The first pass easily could have been intercepted fine that should have never happened just run the ball you have the lead but no threw it again which led to INT and TD for Texans with lead at halftime. That's almost a fireable offense. Even if they completed it so what? There's zero upside and possible horrible downside which ended up happening.
