Colts DEF ranked #7 this week (1 Viewer)

I need some help on this ranking. I don't see how you can rank a def this high that is playing an offense that is hitting on all cylinders right now. I realize Gates, Mathews and a possibly Floyd may not play, but Vincent Jackson is due back, and Rivers has been on fire lately..they are the NFL's top-ranked unit offensively. In addition, the Chargers have scored at least 20 points on the Colts def in the last 4 meetings and the Colts are not a dominant def unit this year.

Just curious if anyone else scratched their head when they saw this ranking.

Chargers have allowed the 4th most pts vs opposing defenses in my league :bag:
Exactly. They may score a lot of points, but they also turn the ball over, give up a decent amount of sacks and their special teams unit is a joke if your league gives ST points for returns, blocks, etc.

I don't see it. Colts tough at home for sure. But they just can't pin their ears back and go after Rivers. Plenty of Tolbert to keep them busy, and I don't see the Colts getting way ahead. Chargers special teams is better. This has all the makings of a 35-31 shootout.

looked at both the Colts and SD DST in a few leagues this year.....knew this was a week I would be looking elsewhere/WW if I took either.....get your

It depends on your scoring system. The Colts may give up a lot of yards but could scoop a couple of turnovers and might return one.
