It was brought to my attention today that I buried the Combined Draft Board in the Draft thread and that it hasn't been easy to find.

So...I'm using this post to link the original feature and commentary, the original Excel sheet (with multiple tabs) to download and modify as you wish, and any updates to the feature as they get published.

You're correct, sorry. I wrote the majority of the commentary earlier this month. Technical issues delayed the posting and I forgot I'd planned to update the first post. Done now.

Not sure this necessarily belongs here, but having completed 6 mixed dynasty rookie drafts, figured I would post where the IDPs have gone. Raw data is below the table, but the table is sorted by position and average draft position. Not an exact science by any means, but it sort of helps to place where these guys have gotten drafted in the grand scheme of things, their average rank within their own positions and how often they go undrafted. The raw data includes starting lineup and league size info.

(EDIT: If someone can tell me how to make this look like the table it was when I pasted it, that would make it more useful. I have also removed the outlier league from the table.)

I am not sure I understand what this combined draft board is. Can someone dumb it down for me? Are these just round grades from Jene?

Correct. The board illustrates which round Jene would target each player in, so it makes it easier to see what he's thinking when comparing IDP to offensive guys. I also think he's indicated guys who've been bumped up/down from the earlier iterations, but it's been a week since I looked at it. Not sure on that.

It's mostly meant to be a visual aid to compare players across positions. It's how I generally have my board set up -- things get changed based on league settings and scoring -- to keep me informed of where I'm willing to consider each player as a draft unfolds.
