I run a 10 team dynasty salary cap/auction league and update/run it myself cause its my own website. The waiver wire is blind bid but I forfeit my bid if someone else bids on that player. It sucks cause I have to stay ahead of the other owners. I did win the title on 2006 qnd 2007 so cant complain too much

The waiver wire runs from tuesday-saturday and ends at 9pm everynight. A trade was completed yesterday and I couldnt update it until today at 4pm. One of the owners had to drop Hines Ward in order to make room for the trade.

my question is-should I be able to pick him up from waivers tonight or wait until he is on the wire for a complete day?

They way we handle this in my league is that no one can pick up a dropped player until they bid on them the following week.

Otherwise it favors the commissioner too much.

In my league, at the point a player is dropped, there is a 48 hour waiver period for that player.

So if you had Waivers go at 2am Wed morning, and players are dropped to make room for claims, those dropped players are not available (on Waivers) until Friday at 2am.

Completely UNFAIR.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow and pick him up if no one bids on him at 9 that way it is completly fair.Thanks for the advice. I thought it was a little unfair and I dont want to run my league that way so I just wanted to get some outside thoughts.
