In my 12 team league, 6 teams make the playoffs. 3 teams tied at 7-7 for the 6th and final slot.

The first tie breaker is head to head record and the second tie breaker is overall points scored.

Here is my issue:

Team A- Beat Team B (2nd overall in points scored)

Team B- Beat Team C (1st overall in points scored)

Team C- Beat Team A (3rd overall in points scored)

The first tie breaker did not resolve anything, so that means the second tie breaker should break the tie... right?

Am I over-thinking this?

p.s. Team A & Team B are in the same division, but the division title is not determined.

I started a thread at beginning of season trying to help people out in playoff tiebreak scenarios. It got deleted in about 5 minutes, too bad you didn't see it then. Not sure why fbg moderator would delete someone trying to help out.

You guys are right.

First tiebreaker did not break the tie, so I moved on to the second. Simple as that.
