Commissioner Transgressions (1 Viewer)

What do you think about a commissioner that refuses to activate the commissioner lock-out on MFL.com websites? For those that don't use MFL.com, the lock-out prevents the commissioner from seeing the free agent requests from other owners before they are processed, as well as trade offers by other teams.

This commissioner also used to allow some owners to submit starting line-ups to be turned in after deadline (until about six years ago when we went automated with a website, starting line-ups were submitted via Email privately to the commissioner). We only learned this after the fact. We also discovered that he used to allow certain owners to submit free agent requests outside of their specified time frame (once again, prior to the league website when such requests were sent privately to the commissioner).

This is also the same commissioner that vetoed a Ray Rice for Larry Fitzgerald trade three weeks ago. Is there a commissioner Hall of Shame anyplace?

Thanks.

Mark

IF what you are saying is true, he shouldn't be the Commish!!!! It's that simple.

The commissioner needs to see these trade offers and free agent requests to keep the integrity of the league intact. I'm sure he doesn't use this information to make his team better and I think you should just trust him. Also, I would have vetoed the Rice for Fitz trade too if I were commissioner. That clearly makes one team better.

I'm sure this is just a fishing attempt, but please explain the bolded.

LOL, now I know you are fishing. Trades should not be vetoed just because it makes one team better (which is debatable).

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me for years, I am an idiot.

Don't see how rice for fitz would make one team better, a #1 for a #1 possibly team trading rice is extremely weak at wr if I believe fitz has a pretty solid background behind him. seems shady commissioners do not need to have the lockout off to keep the league running smooth that is the words from a shady commisioners mouth I run 4 leagues thru mfl and lockout is on in all. everyone enjoys this more because it is the fairest way to go

There's a thin line between :fishing: and :sarcasm: But this ain't it. That was pretty clearly sarcasm. Note, the use of 'one team' as opposed to which team it makes better.

My bad I completely read that wrong.....oooops I still feel what I said is true there is some very shady commissioners and its sad cause out ruins the great sport of fantasy football that we all love

You should see an email at the start of the season with it telling you that your commish turned the lockout on and he has given up his commissioner privilege not sure how else you tell I'm sure there is other ways too

On MFL, go to Rules/League Bylaws and look under the Abilities section, last line covers Commissioners abilities.

Nothing wrong with the Rice for Fitzgerald trade. Takes a lot of nerve for a dip$(%^ commissioner to veto that. Good job leaving that POS league.
