Yes, I stole the idea from "Mike and Mike in the Morning" on ESPN Radio, but I like the idea and it makes for good discussion.

What QB do you like the most to lead their team to a victory this upcoming weekend in their Divisional Playoff Game, and then rank the remaining QBs from 1-8 (1 being the one you have the most confidence in, 8 the least).

Drew Brees has a lot going for him:

1) the return of Hollis Thomas helps the Saints defense get off the field faster.

2) Joe Horn returns to action.

3) Lito Sheppard suffered a dislocated elbow. He may play, but that's a pretty hampering injury, especially in bumping WRs and in run support.

4) The Eagles have to travel to New Orleans, on a short week, after laying it all out to outlast the Giants.

5) In the divisional round, NFC teams on byes have gone 28-4 since the institution of the 12-team playoffs.

1. Brees

2. Garcia (yes, they play each other. He loses with great stats.)

3. Brady

4. Manning (in a loss)

5. Hassleback

6. McNair

7. Rivers (in a win)

8. Gross, man

This is tough to judge. According to the way M&M do it, you base it only on the QB and his play. For example, I am very confident that the Bears will win this weekend, although Grossman would probably be last on my list as far as who will perform well.

I went with Brady.

I agree and haven't voted yet - but doesn't that make for a good discussion?I'll post my thoughts more later.

My rankings of confidence in the QB:

1. Tom Brady

2. Drew Brees

3. Jeff Garcia

4. Peyton Manning (if Indy wins, it will be because of the QB)

5. Matt Hasselbeck

6. Philip Rivers (I think they'll win, but not because of QB play)

7. Steve McNair (Baltimore wins by D/ST first, K second, running, third and passing last vs. Colts)

8. Rex Grossman (and Brian Griese)

I think the best way to think about this question is to ask yourself which QB you wouldlike to have leading your team in the playoffs. I rank them in this order-

1. Brady

2. Brees

3. Manning

4. McNair

5. Hasselbeck

6. Garcia

7. Rivers

8. Grossman

it is tough because I think the two that most would choose - Brady and Manning- have the toughest matchups. So considering the matchups I think I'd go with Brees.

I have a feeling if this poll included every quarterback on every roster it would go something like ...

1. Brady

2. Brees

3. Manning

4. McNair

5. Garcia

6. Hasselbeck

7. Rivers

...

103. Grossman

I'm surprised at all the Brees picks. He sucked in the last two games he played, and they were against washington and the giants. He should have torn them up. I can see the saints winning, but the question ins't which team, it's which QB do you have the most confidence in. For me, Brees is dead last (or 2nd to last in front of only grossman). Brady is my pick.

I was the screwed up vote. I voted for Grossman/Griese because I have the most confidence in the Bears winning. All three of the other games, I am much less sure of.

I did not by any means rank Grossman/Griese as the top choice QB. Oops.

What QB do you have the most confidence in to win this weekend?

1. Manning

2. Brees

3. Rivers

4. Grossman

5. Brady

6. Garcia

7. Mcnair

8. Hasselbeck

This poll makes absolutely no sense to me. If the question was if you were starting a team from scratch and needed a QB to win a game, then it would make sense. But you specified "win THIS WEEKEND", so you're essentially asking which team are you most confident in winning. Therefore the fact that Brady is the 2nd highest vote getter and Grossman is the second lowest is completely baffling to me.
