Cooks or Dez .5 PPR REDRAFT (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone, new user here, loving TFG website, so much to offer.

Was wondering if y'all could help me with a quick trade offer I got.  My team is easily best in the league but looking to make this executive decision, here's my roster + settings:

2QB-4WR-3RB-2TE-1FLEX-1K-1D/ST-7 BENCH

RB/WR - RU/RE TD=6PTS, 10 YDS=1PT, .5PPR

WR's

Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Jamison Crowder, Martavis Bryant, Marquis Lee

Got an offer straight up, Dez Bryant for Brandin Cooks (would be getting Dez) and I am TORN!

So I've gotten some solid feedback from my facebook network as well...here are the key takeaways:

Cooks PROS:

-Brady is his QB

-Brady made other players of his body type and play style legends (Welker, Edelman)

-The first year NE traded for Moss, they used him heavily and he had an epic season

-Previously played with Brees

Cooks CONS:

-Many mouths to feed in NE

-Brady doesn't care who he throws to

-***CHANGE OF WEATHER***

-Will be boom or bust, some weeks with almost 200 yards, some weeks quiet

Dez PROS:

-Zeke gone for 6 games

-When healthy is an elite WR

Dez CONS:

-Schedule is brutal

-Top DB's + S each week will be keying in on him while zeke is gone

-Injury risk

Any insight/suggestion would be helpful!

Cheers everyone!

I like Dez a bit more than Cooks. Dez is a lot more of a TD threat, and is a bigger part of the offense. Cooks is interesting, but with all the weapons the Patriots have, he could get lost in the shuffle some weeks.

Dez....especially since Zeke will be suspended for 6 weeks.  Has 12-14 TD potential, something Cooks doesn't have with all the weapons in NE.

Is this a dynasty or redraft league?   In redraft I would easily want Dez over Cooks but it would be closer in a dynasty.  I still think I would lean Dez but I could make an argument for Cooks.

I lean toward Bryant... but we all remember what Brady did for his last true deep threat (Randy Moss); granted that was a long time ago now but there is potential for Cooks to have a monster season. I'd take Dez, but I wouldn't feel 100% confident about it.

Randy Moss and Brandin Cooks are not close to the same player.
