Dudes like those cops love crackin skulls. I have no doubt in my mind if i had been in that black persons shoes and i did as he did, they would have beaten my ### too. Obviously its speculation on both our part.Well, for one you do not know what "reactionary" means. Secondly, the race card was played by the police beat down. One side sucks. The one that supports police brutality and excessive force to keep poor people in their place. Still unclear about what is unclear in these comments.
Even if it meant you would be draged?Sometimes I wish I was a criminal who took a 5 minute beating so I could sue for millions.
It wouldn't be them, because they are either A. Smart enough to listen to directions or B. A law abiding citizenThe reactionary right wing are often thrilled to see police beating down someone, whether deserved or not. Excessive use of force makes them feel safe. Especially when the person being beaten is part of a minority, ... black, Hispanic or gay do the trick. "Law n' Order" they say! As long as it is not them being beaten.
Lets talk about something important...Should the Redskins keep their name or change it?nope. no sense at all. Law and Order guys refers to the Nixon/Reagan type of conservative and they break the law as much as anyone. They just call themselves "law and order" types to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Police are absolutely and completely out of control in this country. This attitude that they can do anything they want any time they want is bull####. Laws are for everyone even the guy enforcing them. At some point someone is going to shot one of these violent jackasses and walk.Having been in a couple of situations with Detroit police when I was younger. I found that the best thing to stay healthy was to comply and do what they ask me. First of all the guy says "Don`t talk to me that way" then he won`t put his hands behind his back. The guy had it coming. The guy doesnt follow directions very well lol
When I was 19 my buddy got arrested, I went to the station in Detroit to bail him out, they said I had to wait 2 hours. The cops behind the counter were being total smart asses. When I turned around to walk out I was looking at the one cop. Who then said to me..WTH are you looking at? Or course I replied with a FU! Next thing I knew 4-5 cops tackled me and dragged me out the front door station while landing punches all over my face and body. They threw me outside. I tell my dad what happened and he said "You had it coming" Hoped you learned a lesson.
Id like to think police are stepping up their game to match the crazy people running around. Wish i had the link of that cop who pulled someone over, walked up to the window and got shot in the face and chest a few times. There job isnt as easy as we all think i bet.....NCCommish said:Police are absolutely and completely out of control in this country. I disagree. When i get pulled over i dont worry about getting a beatdown because i am not a criminal that is wanted, and i follow directions pretty well like handing the guy my license and registration. Seems the relations are only bad with the criminals jimmy-jackin around.....No one said that policing is an easy job. They should be among the most respected and well paid and well educated people in a society. They have an important job to do, to protect, defend, and serve the people of the community. However, when thugs like those depicted in the OP use excessive force, they demean their own profession and violate the trust they are supposed to have from the community. It is no wonder that relations among police and the people they supposedly serve, is at an all time low.
Did you not hear the crack of the baton with every hit? And have you ever been hit with one of those? The perp may have been jacked up on something, but those hits were brutal. I bet if we saw pics of the damage (bruises and x-rays) you'd change your mind about the severity. They didn't seem like hard hits, kinda of reminded me when my grandma used to beat me with a switch, can't believe the perp didn't try to follow the officer's instructions, the perp was more than likely on PCP or some other kind of mind altering drug, the video didn't look as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Watch the officers swing the baton, he isn't putting too much into it, other than his wrists, he is not putting much of his body weight into it at all. I know I would welt up after those hits, but they are not brutal hits, the perp is solely responsible bottom line.Did you not hear the crack of the baton with every hit? I'm not sure that was a traditional baton. Seemed pretty whippy.Did you not hear the crack of the baton with every hit? And have you ever been hit with one of those? You have the first part right. Only walking will be down death row though.NCCommish said:Police are absolutely and completely out of control in this country.
