At first glance, I thought to myself, "Good luck with that pipe dream, Correll." :coffee: However, after studying Correll's career, I now believe he may have an outside chance of being the lead RB in RBBC.

Sure, the guy has had multiple major knee surgeries. However, he's had no major injuries the past three seasons. More importantly, the guy is productive. Buckhalter has averaged at least 4.2 yards/carry in each of his five NFL seasons. His 4.5 career yards/carry on 476 carries has been bettered by only 10 active NFL RB's.

Size? Buckhalter is 6'0" 217lbs. He can pick-up the blitz and catch the ball. Instead of paying BIG $$$ to a more established RB in the offseason, I think an under-the-radar Buckhalter signing could be a shark move for some team.

He is a decent back. Just can't stay healthy... Buyer beware.

Not sure what the market would be for a RB that has already had injury concerns that will be turning 31 who never really has had a full time or heavy workload. To his credit, in the 19 games over his career with 10 or more carries, he's had a 4.92 ypc (averaging 14.7 carries per game).

Just too old to find any genuine interest IMO, though he could maybe find a spot where he'd share touches ala Tampa Bay or New England

Maybe a team like Jax would like to have a complement to their complementary back - at a low price.

I don't know what the market for that would be either but your description almost sounds like Derrick Ward and everyone expects he's going to be priced out of the Giants.

Ward is roughly 2 years younger. In his 18 games with 10 or more carries, he's had a 5.15 ypc (15.1 carries/gm).Looks pretty similar in terms of on-field production. Not sure how many injuries Ward has had by comparison, but I'm guessing 2 years in age makes a pretty big difference at RB.

I think that Bucky is a skilled RB that can do many things..the one thing he can`t do is play 5-6 games in a row.
