I obviously love the Steelers, but I don't think they match up particularly well with either NE or Indy this year. They'd probably lose the battle in the trenches against both these teams and that's where many games are won and lost. The Steelers oline isn't as dominant as it has been in recent memory, and they don't really have a back that can grind out a win like they had with Bettis. FWP isn't a good matchup against either of these defenses because, although he can run with some power at times, he doesn't really fall forward for those couple extra yards every play. Without a "smash mouth" running game, Ben would have to be Houdini (and he has been that in a few games) to get away from the pass rush of both these teams. On the other side of the ball, the Steelers haven't been getting pressure when they rush only 4, which is something I think you have to to against NE. Indy did it in the first half yesterday early, but the pressure tailed off late in the game when Brady picked them apart. I don't think NE's offensive line is going to be fooled by the zone blitz, so it seems to me the Steelers will have to play a bend-but-don't-break kind of defense and hope to hold NE to FGs. Good luck with that. The zone blitz might work against Indy's offense as it did in the '05 playoffs, but when it doesn't work, the Steelers can't get pressure as I said, and Manning would pick them apart too.I think the Steelers would have to play flawlessly against either team in order to win, and I'm not sure they could with their less than dominant Oline. Now, some will say this is being too negative, and not believing in your team, but I say it's just a realistic look at what the Steelers are this year. In any other "normal" year, I'd think they have as good a chance as anyone, but htis year there are two teams and the rest of the league. But I'll still be rooting like hell for them every week
