Take your pick. Do you think the Pats run the table? If not, when do they lose? Of couse I'm rooting ig time for every opponent, but that doesn't mean I think it will happen. Sadly, my vote is for sometime next year.

They will not win the Super Bowl. Whether that's Jacksonville or Indianapolis beating them, I know not.

I think they lose if they play Jacksonville in the 1st round.
i can guarantee this WILL NOT HAPPENaside from that i forsee a loss coming in week4 of the preseason next year for them
I don't know man, I just have a feeling about the Jaguars after watching their last few games. They seem to be putting it all together. If they meet, I could see the Jags offense running a couple of good series drives and then their defense holding the Pats in check.I have an instinctive hunch that tells me this would be a really close game.

JAX will beat NE in the playoffs.

JAX has the D to throttle brady, plus their runnning game and Garrard is proving to be a great fit to run that team. Not to mention they are playing some of the best football right and have proven to not be impaired by the cold weather.

Jacksonville beat pittsburgh on a mushy field in 35 degree weather with swirling snow. Florida teams are used to playing in muddy fields. It could be a lot colder than that in foxboro with icy conditions. They have proven nothing. Btady has proven he can win in FRIGID conditions multitudes of times.

How did Jax do against Indy this year? That should tell you something.

That means nothing. Just because Team A beat Team B, and Team B beat Team C, does not automatically mean that Team A would beat Team C. The NFL is all about matchups. Remember that for years, Indy used to almost always beat Denver, Denver almost always beat New England, and New England almost always beat Indy.

Patriots beat the Jacksonville/Pittsburgh winner.

They lose the AFC Championship to the Indianapolis/San Diego winner.

I don't think this is a A beat B scenario, but rather an example of how well JAX handles a strong passing team. I see JAX as a strong, physical team, but I don't think they have the front 4 pass rush to really pressure the pocket without blitzing, nor do I think th JAX DBs are capable of covering the NE WRs 1 on 1. JAX biggest weakness on D is what the Pats do best. The best chance for JAX is to have another crappy weather day to limit what the NE passing offense can do.I'm not convinced on the JAX offense, but I really haven't seen enough to make an educated assessment. What I do know is that they are a run first team, and do that well. The Pats D will be in for a tough matchup, but I'd expect the scheme to take away the run and dare Garrard to beat them. Unless he begins to channel AJ Feeley ( ie. making throws and completions that he's never made in his career ), I don't think a JAX aerial attack would be able to muster more than 17 pts against the Pats D. Unless the weather is really bad, I don't think Jax is the knock off the Patriots this year.

If they can keep the score low I agree.

Flavor of the week. NE will destroy Jax if they play. The Jags have the 18th ranked passing defense in the league... Brady would pick them apart.

Actually, it means quite a bit. Particularly if Team A is coached by Bill Belichick and Team C by Jack Del Rio.

Brady has proven he can win in bad weather, but they look more beatable when the passing game has been negated by that lovely New England weather. Jacksonville has the ability to control the ball and keep Brady off the field. If the Patriots passing attack is suffering from the weather, they become very vunerable.

I would say very, they have been in positions to lose games in bad weather to teams that are nowhere near their talent level. And if you can look at things objectively that should be a concern to Pats fans.

True. Bad weather is what worries me the most. What I take a bit of comfort in is the verteran leadership that has shown the ability to make plays when the game is on the line. When I saw very, it felt like the Pats on a bad weather day are no better than a middle of the road team. I don't think thats true. It brings them closer to the pack, thats for sure, but they're still a top team under any conditions.

Not a win but pretty good. 25-28 loss at Indy (JAX only L in the their last 7 games)Relative to that point and based on your logic of comparing other teams to predict future outcomes, you could argue that Indy is playing better football than NE right now. After all, Indy won by 24 at BAL and a week earlier NE could only win by 3 at BAL. This bodes well for JAX's upset of NE since JAX played Indy so close. Thanks bringing up Indy, makes me feel even more confident in my prediction. :deadhorse:

No kidding. I'm rooting hard for Pats to play Jax where they will go on to destroy them by no less than three TD's and all these bandwagon copy and paster Jacksonville supporters can eat their crow. Of all the playoff teams, Jacksonville is the least likely to go into New England and pull off the upset.
