Caught the Pokes Radio Report with Jones and Spagnola. I hate the Cowboys with such a passion but I know some of you might be counting on these guys this week or this year. Quickly...

Carpenter might not DRESS this week. He could be inactive for the game. If you own him and this happens, start watching this...CLOSELY. First round picks should be in pads...every week...unless injured. Carpenter is not hurt.

I believe they said O. Hoyte, given his place on special teams, might suit up instead. Hoyte...undrafted FA.

B. James has a bruised groin and bruised...manhood. Speculation was that he might not play this weekend.

On the other side of the ball it looks like M. Stroud is most likely out. Del Rio is playing it close to the vest but Stroud was on crutches with a high ankle sprain.

It was suggested that M. Wiley will probably play at DE and Hayward will be moved inside.

Interesting. I haven't seen much on Carpenter, but it doesn't appear he's winning over Bill fast. They planned to put him outside early, especially when they brought Ayodele in and put him inside, but once Ellis got on board with the position switch and was locked in as a starter, I noticed the depth charts all moved Carpenter inside. Barring injury, he doesn't look to have much value this year. Nice potential waiver wire pick-up in a dynasty league for the future if his owner gets impatient.

This is true. As soon as Ellis took over the starting OLB job, Carpenter was moved behind Ayodele.
