Cowboys at Redskins (1 Viewer)

This is the perfect ending to this season.

Romo pick at inopportune time.

Defense does something incredibly stupid.

Sums up the entire last decade in about 10 seconds of football.

I like how MOP blocked me because he's an idiot.. :lmao:
It's well established throughout the boards. He picks up the guppy fan club like LHUCKS did, but anyone who's been around long enough has him in his rightful place.
Im not new... just surprised he went that route

Come on guys. Really?

You are going to pin this on a bad call by the REF>??????

Seriously????

Romo did what Romo does. The undisciplined defense did what they do.

And we all did what we always do...we fall victim to the possibility that this team is actually good enough to win games like this.

NEWSFLASH-----> they arent.

What a silly call. NFL really is a joke.
It's automatic if you hit a QB in the head. Has to be called. They've let a lot go for both sides but some stuff is mandatory.
I'm rooting against Dallas. It makes my day and my pathetic season to see them lose. But when a guy is jumping over other guys to make a play and in the process he hits a helmet, well, I think it's nonsense. Granted, I have been drinking a little and haven't seen the replay, but in general, way too much over reaction to defensive players being able to play. It looked like a horrible call to me.

Refs throw less than 5 flags the entire game and people are still complaining.
I think Cowboy fans are well aware of where this game was lost. Injuries and your typical Romo Meltdown Special are the main culprits. A ticky-tack call doesn't bother me.

Not a Cowboys fan. Just wanted an exciting finish of a game. Really enjoyed the lack of flags and didn't really think that call had any effect on the outcome of the play. I also think you could use the whole fact he was jumping to knock the pass down and got blocked into him a la on a punt return and not called it.

It was more than just a quick hit to the head. He shoved RG3 down by the facemask. It wasn't on purpose, just part of trying hard, but even if they had discretion on the QB getting hit I think it'd still get flagged.

Why didn't Dallas just let them score right after the penalty? Give them the TD and get the ball back with 2:40 left. At least you can try and score and get an onside kick. This way, same result with less time.

In theory I believe they were hoping to stop them for a FG and only need to score once...that didn't work out so well for them.

I'm pretty sure the % of recovering an onside kick is > holding them out of the endzone there. Not to mention the amount of time that would be left.

Nor me.TD...not a fumble
I really feel bad for Romo. Seems like one of the good guys...at one point does this stuff repeatedly happening just break you? I know I'd have a hard time getting "perspective," knowing the history I've had of mucking things up time after time after time. Starting with the Seahawks game long ago and that botched hold, he miraculously seems to find himself in these situations over and over.I'd think that would be really hard to deal with and wonder how he does it.

Will be rooting for RGIII to get healthy and take it to the Seahawks next week.

This game went about like I thought it would.

At least this team kept fighting. Couldnt overcome Romo having a "Romo" night.

Gratz to Washington Redskins and their loyal fans. Good luck against Seattle next week.
fair weather fans.. RG3 seems to have brought them back
Can you think of any Skins fans here on FBG's that have less than thousands of posts? Not really fair-weather, guy. Skins fans have suffered for decades, and deserve this. Don't be a #####.
Please.. RG3 bandwagon is full .. not saying you just putting it out there
