He made it to his wedding anniversary, 12/14.. He also got to hear he was inducted into the sports broadcasting hall of fame, 2 days before he died..

I loved Steve Kerr's speech that night and when he asked everyone to give him a hand clap of applause. It was nice seeing the standing ovation in his honour.

Oh the battle he fought. Makes me feel like I went through a cold compared to what he experienced. And his attitude and still love for all.............such a loss. :(
