It it's the scam I imagine it is, the victim pays to have it shipped but receives nothing. They will attempt to get the victim to wire the money.

if you scam a criminal out of his own money somehow, do you not think they wouldnt come a knocking on your door?
they'll have your name/address/ip etc. not that hard for them to come after you.
odds are, they wont. but do you really want to F with someone faking cancer to scam you out of 3500$?

The email will look like it is from amazon but will be from a different address. Amazon won't be involved at all and you'll be out your $3500.
