Crayton > Hackett or Marshall...? (1 Viewer)

Crew Love

With the latest news on Glenn's injury (out at least two weeks), does Patrick Crayton now have more value than other WR2s like DJ Hackett and Brandon Marshall...?

OMG...I was about to to same thing with the exact same players

Tell you the truth, I like Crayton! and if glenn misses more time, he should be great

Love Crayton this year. Don't see why he can't put up Furrey like numbers (or maybe even TJ like numbers as his ceiling) opposite TO. Dallas was the #5 offense last year.

I have Marshall and thought about it...but I think Marshall has more upside. I am tempted to drop Horn for Crayton though. What do you think between Horn and Crayton?

Hackett, Crayton, then Marshall. Marshall's stock has been dropping ever since Shanahan had to force him to practice. I wouldn't be surprised if Stokley got more targets even if not starting (which he might). Crayton is a good receiver, but if last year is any indicator, Romo loves TO and will force it to him if necessary. Plus, I don't think the NY DEF is going to be able to hinder TO enough that Romo will even have to check down. Hackett is the most reliable of the three in my opinion, he catches anything that comes his way, has had more time with Hasselbeck, and I think will be a better target than Branch.

Thats crazy talk right there. Hackett will most likely not start every game this year, and even when he does, he still will have to compete with Burleson who has made it so that Holmgren hasnt even decided who will start this weekend.

I just picked up Crayton off the waiver wire. They are saying that Glenn might require further surgery. If so, he will be right up there with Marshall and Hackett. Crayton had 36 catches for 516 yards and 4 TD's last year as a #3 receiver on the team. If Glenn is out all season, he definately has a shot to go over 1000 yards

Once again.... Crayton continues to be undervalued in most leagues.

I'm sounding like a broken record here
