My wife and I share a credit card account. On our cards we each have the same CC number and same 3 digit CVV number.

My card has started to fail when being used at store terminals so we ordered a new one.

The new card came with the same full CC number, but a different 3 digit CVV.

Can the same credit card number have two different CVV's associated with it?

If you sign up for a new credit card or replace an existing one, you’ll end up with a new code; the same applies if your current card expires and you receive a replacement. Even if your credit card number is exactly the same, you will still have a different CVV.

Meaning the key is

Name on Card, Card #, CVV

It should be fine.

It should be fine.

I will say that's how we stored information.

It's why sites asked for Name as shown on card.

But that was a long time ago so I could be completely wrong
