I don't agree, at all, that criminals are really hurting fantasy football.

So you don't see where owners who aren't paying out prizes as hurting fantasy football? Why is that?

I would suggest asking the commish for e-mail addresses of guys in the league, or other leagues that he has run. I use Paypal for my leagues but I'd supply references to any prospective new owners. I love the idea that agent 575 had about having a "good commish" list although it would be tough for guys that only run a league or two to get 20 references. Also, I can imagine that it could get pretty cluttered if it isn't handled well.

Because it's a relatively rare occurrence and fantasy football has and still is exploding as a hobby. Hence, it is not being "really hurt" by criminals.

Agreed. Kinda hyperbole. Not saying there is no issue with this. It just doesn't rise to the level of outrage expressed by the OP. This will be my 25th year of FF, and I don't see it on a personal or macro level.
