It's a good rule. Why have divisons if they don't mean anything?

Even if it was total record, someone might be 2nd in a divison yet have a better record then someone getting a bye. So then go by total record for the whole thing. Then divisions have no meaning at all.

He was 4th out of 5 in his divison, deal with it.

Why are the rules flawed? Plenty of leagues have divisions, which is typically where most of your games are played. He finished 4th in his division. He wants to complain about known rules at the beginning of the season....

Eventually all of you will realize the inherent flaws of trying to emulate the NFL too closely, H2H, only allowing one starting QB (ridiculous how so many marginalize the most important offensive player on the field) etc. and when that happens you can help to guide the subsequent generations of FF players.
