Agape Massage Therapy and Chiropractic offers $17.50 massages, but there's a catch. It's a cult.

WJBK-TV’s Problem Solvers unit investigated Dr. Craig Stasio and his Agape Massage Therapy and Chiropractic center in Clinton Township, Michigan and found it populated with young women, none of whom were trained masseuses, offering hour-long massages for $17.50.

In addition to working for Craig Stasio, the women also live together in an environment that WJBK-TV characterized as “commune-like.” The parents of some of the women claim that their estranged daughters refer to Stasio as “the prophet,” and that he teaches about a coming “tribulation” that “will last for 3 years” and end in a great “fire.”
But when a WJBK-TV producer went into the clinic for a $17.50 massage, she spoke to a woman named “Natasha” who claimed that she dropped out of law school to provide discounted massages. When asked why, “Natasha” responded that “sometimes it’s like you just know the path you’re supposed to go.”

She was later observed outside the clinic, dancing alone and praising Jesus.
With interesting video.

David Koresh had hotter women, based on the made for tv movies I have seen on the subject.

I have never been a to a strip mall massage parlor (NTTAWWT). Where does $17.50 fall in the range of normal prices?

Also is the happy ending always just a negotiation at the end of the massage?

Any worse than people going door-to-door trying to "sell" their religion because they were told to do so?
People bringing their kids around selling overpriced catalog items because they were told to do so. Yeah, what's the cheapest thing you have in there, a fifteen dollar flashlight with Garfield's face on it? I'll take one of those. It's what I've always wanted.

So no happy ending. :(
If you watched the video he previously had gone into a private room with one of themassage-cult women, had sex, and ejaculated on the floor.

He referred questions to his attorney. :lmao: What do attorneys charge for handling floor ejaculation questions?

OK, I'm going to try and get past the "Jesus is just alright with me" musical interlude.

ETA: Ok so he's essentially a pimp. What's funny os because he speaks the same kind of crazy as the parents the girls are easy targets. One of the parents said he "cast a demon out of" his daughter like it was completely normal, like "he gave her a ride"

They just went from one crazy to another, and adopted prostitution in the bargain.
